The Undertaker was said to have kept to himself over WrestleMania weekend. Several sources are saying he stayed in his hotel room and iced his knees over and over. He's in rough shape these days but keeps on ticking. He'll be taking time off over the next year as will Shawn Michaels.

Well I guess that if he's taking some time off, it's time to make the ultimate test for a reality that is coming closer and closer every year: A WWE without Taker.

Doesn't he take time off almost every year?
Let him take a break. He obviously needs it. I still don't think we have anything to worry about when it comes to his retirement for another few years. But then again everyone else seems to pick him apart instead of being lucky he's still around.

Exactly. The man's a bonafide legend, and if he needs time off to heal his body so he can keep entertaining us...then who the hell are we to complain about it? let the deadman rest, he can retire when he wants to, for now let us just enjoy his matches.

agreed, I think any WWE fan should be damn gratful and enjoy any time that Undertaker makes any sort of appearance. I know I'm one of the many that marks out hard at even the slightest mention of his name on a WWE program

I second that, total mark right here when it comes to The Undertaker.

That's right, but everyone notice that his breaks becomes longer each time, and each year, there are the rumors of retirement coming, backstage comments about the bad shape he's in, how everything is set for his retirement, etc. So, I'm just calling the shot in advance.

And no, I'm not really in the lot of "OMG TAKER!!11!!" crazy fan. I do think all the crazy s**t has been done in the past, and all we see is recycled material.

Different injuries, or personal issues can cause longer breaks. Most people seem to take breaks of about 5-7 months when injured or just when they want to. Why wouldn't Taker do any different? The length of his breaks doesn't make the slightest bit of a difference. The reitrement rumors are just because he's getting old. They've been going on for years. He said in an interview that he'll continue to wrestle until he's physically incapable of doing it anymore. And I don't know about you guys, but to me he still looks very physically able to wrestle. Sure he may get dings, scratches, and bruises as anyone else will.

And now it's been saying that he was never injured, by the way. People are really underestimating him, and it's crap. Everytime he takes time off, be it a week or a year, does not mean he's injured. Any time he's injured does not mean he's retiring.
