I successfully EV trained my first pokemon...!!! eek
Words cannot describe how I feel...
I didn't cheat, didn't hack... worth it. totally worth it.
Anyways, discuss...
What pokemon did you first ev train? Do you share the bliss that I do? *_* Favorite methods of EV training.

The first pokemon I EV trained correctly was probably a Sableye. There were other attempts before that, but none with promissing results.

My first EV trained pokemon was a togepi. I traded him off because his ability changed to hustle, but I miss it still.

The first one I EV'd was Giratina, and I was quite surpised when it leveled up and got plus 17 to attack (I know, it's more of a special sweeper, I didn't know then. Also, 17 is rather mediocre). The first one I EV'd successfully was my Garchomp which I got once I could get to that cave, so I was still in the badges. I immediately trained it with my traded over bands for speed and attack, and all the gym leaders were suddenly looking down the barrel of a fully EV'd battle-ready beast.

My first was my Dusknoir. She has a permanent spot on my Ghost/Dark Team. It's still in the works, though. I need to breed three more and train five more Pokemon.

My first was a typhlosion. But he didn't turn out too great due to horrible IV's so I bred another one with better IV's and trained it. Now the things a beast.

ihikari-chan sweatdrop what does ev mean sweatdrop state for Effort Value... you get a different amount of those points depending which pokémons you defeat... example... starly 1 EV in speed... 4 evs in speed sum 1 point to your total speed in the pokémon who deal with them
