AIM LOG -- Felyn & Krysin
Niruzu, Ashiki & Katiti'Manina

Niruzu's gaze flickered briefly over the termite mounds before them, then down to the figure loping along beside him as if to make sure that he wasn't imagining her presence. No, the b***h was still there, walking along beside him like she owned the world. He hoped the queen knocked her down a few pegs. Although, first he had to find the female.

He would have simply called out for her if he didn't fear that Sukari would come crashing down on his head with anger for disturbing her cubs - and then ring the lioness limb from limb before he got a word in edge wise. Thus, he was left to his own devices of walking (or stalking, more like it) around the perimeter, until he found her lounging comfortably.

He paused only for a moment, long enough to throw his pale eyes down at the bright lioness. "What your tongue, girl, or she'll rip it out." That was all the warning he really felt like she needed, and thus he nodded in the direction of a rather average looking female with a dusky pelt.

Average looking upon first glance, perhaps, for it was glaringly obvious once the pair came into her view that there was a mind behind those eyes that was not very average at all. Bright emerald eyes flashed once she registered them and her posture, once vaguely relaxed, became rigid as she pushed herself up from lying to a seated position.

One brow clearly arched as she let her gaze wander over this female, taking in every aspect of her form, before she turned back to Niruzu. "Just what have you brought home now?" Her voice was cold, but almost amused - almost. It was much more likely that she just relished in tormenting Niruzu because he got such a rise out of it. Without waiting for an answer, she turned to the female instead, tail tapping lightly against the ground beneath her feet.

"You are either very stupid, or very curious, which may also be stupid given the circumstances," she didn't seem to be joking now, but not even in that cold manner she used for Niruzu. She knew Niruzu wouldn't have brought the girl out of his own choice, not with how unsociable he was, so she must have been quite pushy. "Your name then, let's have it."

She seemed unconcerned, as if nothing could touch her, harm her. It was confidence she exuded just from how much she seemed to not care about the situation. But, underneath the surface her mind was toiling away, assessing the situation and how much she actually wanted to be a part of. She would have to trust her vision, which she had been following all along. At least Niruzu was enough to lighten up the situation, if only because he seemed so serious.

"You don't have to worry about me," she purred in response, bright blue eyes switching over to the ragged male. Really, she wished he did something about his appearance. He looked like a rodent more than a lion. She almost released a wistful sigh, but held it in as a rather plain looking lioness came into view. If this was who she had to watch her tongue around, it was going to be difficult. Kat just didn't want to take anything completely seriously at this point. But, to her credit, she didn't falter in her steps, and instead confidently approached the other lioness.

"Katiti'manina, and I would venture that I am neither stupid nor curious." Of course, she just couldn't keep her mouth all that shut. She couldn't answer just what was posed to her as a question. Instead her blue eyes flickered across Ashiki's appearance, taking her in carefully, observantly. In a fight, she was sure Ashiki would come out on top.

Curses. Her visions just were going to be bitchy with her today.

Niruzu's jaw tightened as he heard the words slip out of Kat's mouth, his pale eyes flashing over to her with a gleam of warning, before he finally looked back to his queen. She had asked him a question and although it seemed to be rhetorical, if she actually expected an answer it would be in his benefit to do so. Of course, if he spoke out of line and she didn't want him to, that might also be a blunder. Which chance to take?

"I found her near the borders and she insisted on coming along," he finally ground out, his body rigid and stock-still. He was clearly uncomfortable in her presence, although at first glance he was likely the more physically adept of the pair. It would seem he was more afraid of those she had in her control and perhaps the bite behind her words.

Ashiki's narrowed her eyes minimally on the female at the retort, though her mind was momentarily distracted by Niruzu's words. Despite his usually grumpy demeanor, he did seem as if he was trying to keep her from making a complete fool of herself. That was puzzling, especially when it was coupled with the fact that the girl also seemed to grate his nerves.

"If you are neither stupid nor curious, then what reason have you to insist on following such a creature into a hostile land?" She had turned her eyes back to narrow upon Katiti again, her tail tapping against the earth at her paws, as if tapping out the moments she was waiting for Kat to respond. "I can't say that I see the logic in it." She certainly wouldn't follow Niruzu anywhere.

She shrugged her shoulders simply at Niruzu's response, because it was true, though it painted her out to be the pest that she was to him. Well, there went good first impressions, but she didn't seem terribly concerned. Her ears flicked momentarily in his direction, though her gaze remained on Ashiki. Really, she had to wonder how this lioness had come into her position of power, and why she had Niruzu practically grovelling at her feet for her to not hurt him. This did make her gaze switch momentarily over him, and if only barely noticable, her decorated brows drew down with thought.

"I was supposed to," she replied with another simple shrug of her shoulders. "There's no logic to it, if you're looking for logic. I just do what I'm supposed to - I didn't know it would end me up here. Niruzu here was late, I saw him coming earlier than he ended up arriving - kept me waiting for hours." There she went again, chatting more than she should, but in her mind she was explaining everything perfectly clear. If you had a non-senscial vision telling you what to do, you did it without question. She had acted this way as a cub, and she wouldn't change now. She didn't expect most of the lions she met to believe her when she came right out and said 'I see visions'.

Niruzu was inwardly relieved that he seemed to have chosen the right answer. Besides that, most of the queen's attention seemed to be centered on Kat and not himself, with which he was very pleased. He found her to be quite unsettling at the best of times, even though she wasn't particularly dangerous physically. He could feel Kat's searching eyes, though, and he didn't feel like having to answer her silent questions.

Instead, his gaze rolled out to the area around them, narrowing as if he were searching for something, or someone. They combed over shadowy areas, brows knitting as he obviously didn't see what he was looking for.

Ashiki took note of the small gestures Kat threw in Niruzu's direction, whether or not they were intended to be noticed. So too did she see when Niruzu began to examine the area around them, and that small fact made her maw curl up into a smirk, for she knew exactly what he was looking for. With a stranger near her, Niruzu knew that her personal shadow would have made his way out, even if he was hard to find.

"You were supposed to?" she began before she even switched her gaze back to the lioness, her eyes glinting with cold amusement. "That's interesting." Although it came out in quite a demeaning tone, she did have some idea of what she was referrin to. Her own sister was a shaman of sorts, and she had heard of lions with visions. This seemed to be what the red female was describing, otherwise, how would she know where Niruzu was supposed to be? She would have just attributed it to her being crazy, but Niruzu had obviously shown up if they were having this conversation.

"Mmm, well, it may come as no surprise, but Niruzu isn't exactly concerned with silly things like being on time," she snorted lightly and let herself lay back down comfortably where she had been lounged before. "If you're so keen on being here, however, and convinced that your fate is tied to our tempermental brute here, by all means feel free to stay." It was actually in Ashiki's benefit for her to stay, in their need of numbers, but she wasn't one to beg or ask - much better to let the other think it was their decision.

She nodded her head shortly, for a few moments not being as chatty as she usually was. Rather, she was considering the words that came next from the lioness. Did she really intend to stay here? The Outlands weren't highly looked upon, and she was sure it'd break her mother and stepfather's heart to see her go. Perhaps it would be wise to venture back at some point and tell them that she was going away for a while, and that she'd visit every now and again. That would satisfy them, at least give them some sort of mental peace. That would free her up to stay here, while listening to what her vision clearly wanted of her.

She glanced around the lands, clearly wondering what they had to offer. Nothing. Sigh. Her visions were clearly messing with her head, but she'd continue to see where this took her. If it didn't give her anything beneficial, she could always leave and go back home. That seemed like the perfect plan, and so with her ideas settled, she turned her attention back to Ashiki. "Clearly he isn't. It was such a disappointment." She withheld another, likely dramatic sigh, though she thought the situation called for it.

"I don't really believe in fate, and if I religiously did, I imagine he's just a step on the path to something greater." She supposed fate existed, and that perhaps her visions were tied to it, but she wasn't convinced entirely. "I think I will stay, though. I've been led this far, and I'm not the kind of lioness to back down." She smiled then, just barely.

"So, babycakes, you ready to show me around?" she purred to Niruzu.

Niruzu snorted as he turned to look back at Kat, momentarily forgetting his sheer terror of Ashiki in favor of showing the leech at his side just how much he did not appreciate her sentiments. "You have a lot of faith in me showing you around after calling me your spiritual stepping stone," he muttered, irritation laced in every word.

He thought about leading her to Sukari's den and dropping her off, but that plan was just as likely to backfire on him and have the female beat him to a pulp for the hell of it. With an irritated sigh, he nodded to Ashiki and turned away, "Fine." It was one, punctuated word, but he had already started walking.

"I think you'll fit in here just fine," she said, almost pleasantly, though it there was a heavy undertone of that same wicked amusement from earlier. She liked this one, that was easy to tell. She tormented Niruzu as much as Ashiki herself did, and she had a drive in her that was admirable in anyone. She seemed to know her place, at least to a degree, but she could be molded to suit them more with time.

It was a bit troublesome that she was here because of Niruzu, though as much as she tormented him, she knew the male had drawn a bad lot in life. He was just too easy and amusing to rile up. Perhaps this female was really and truly here for him, and had yet to realize it herself. They certainly had the makings for an amuzing couple. With a light chuckle and narrowed eyes, she watched Niruzu stalk off before she settled down.

"Aw, I'm sure you've had the pleasure of being everyone's stepping stone. You're used to it by now," she jabbed at, falling back to what she considered herself a pro at, annoying Niruzu. When he turned away, she only gave one final, dismissive glance to Ashiki before pursuing after the grumpy lion. She really had no idea what her life would be like here, but she imagined it couldn't be that if she played her cards right. She had visions, regularly, and if she needed to, she would play that card for her own sake.

"I knew you couldn't turn me away, baby. Where's your den located? I'll have to settle nearby. You are the only lion I know even remotely." Of course, she didn't want to be near him for any reason other than to torment the hell out of him. Niruzu had no idea what he had gotten himself into by approaching her earlier this day, and some part of her was severely pleased by that. This whole new pride thing was not going to be a trouble at all if she had him for comedic relief.

"My den is the same place as everyone else's," he muttered irritably, his tail lashing behind him as he stalked back to the entrance of the termite mounds, since had had to do a considerable search to track down Ashiki. He supposed now he could show the miserable wretch inside and to a den, though. Maybe he'd give her the one right next to Sukari, since the big blue monster was now sharing the queen's.

"I suggest you shut up though, or Sukari'll gut you for waking up her cubs," he hissed. Outwardly he was quite pleased that he could use Sukari as an excuse to make someone else shut up for once, instead of being the brunt of her threats. He passed into the darkness of the secluded mounds, narrowing his eyes.

"I see that you all are a bunch of individualists..." she mused silently to herself as she moved up to walk beside Niruzu. Her gaze continued to take in her new surroundings, and all she could say that the Pridelands definitely were more appealing. If the pride wanted large numbers, they should have moved to some place with a better landscape. She was not used to being more vibrant than the ground beneath her. But everything seemed... brown. How unpleasant.

"How would this Sukari know that it was me instead of you?" she purred. No, she wasn't going to bother to keep her voice terribly quiet, it wasn't her style just to listen to whatever she was told. She flicked her dressed tail behind her, the bangles clanking lightly together. This was certainly going to be a whole new adventure, but she had to wonder how long she'd be content to stay on the ride.
