The planet of Altru is considered rather desolate since there is but one patch of dry land. The only other sign of life is a large floating city that occasionally makes its way towards the small island. The land is controlled by the Arran. The floating city by the Nacel. Here is a description of both areas:



Arran Island:
A small, if not the only, patch of land on all of Altru. Though it stays surprisingly sunny, despite the humidity. Its known to be hit with frequent tropical storms however, though nothing has been too devastating over the last few years. It bears much fruit, and has plenty of small mammals for the Arran's to hunt, with the exception of a few predators...

The name of the island was given to it obviously, because small tribes of the race Arrans dwell there. The Arran's are fierce warriors that are surprisingly small, cute and cuddly. (and fluffy). Despite being a bit primitive, they are a jolly little bunch if you are a friend of theirs. they treat various outsiders differently so try not to offend them.


Nacel Floating Fortress:
A large and high tech structure that drifts along the vast and seemingly endless ocean of Altru. The race known as the Nacel, a tall, hairless, yet ingenious race of people dwell upon it. They aren't considered very social, though a few are warm to one another on occasion.

They are gifted with insight and knowledge, creating some of the most high tech and advanced weapons, transportation, devices, and overall technology than any other race or planet in the galaxy.
