The stretch of beach that surrounds the entire island except for about a mile or so of straight cliff and Rock.

This is where most visitors will dock or land, and also a great recreational spot.

It had been approximately a full day when the big, shining blue planet came into view. Richard called his 'passengers' to the obervation deck to get a good look at it. The last 24 hours or so had been interesting to say the least. Raquel was still wearing Damian's shirt, though seemed more than fine with it. Enty seemed mroe than fine with it himself. *lol*
Though Richard refused to really talk with her, making it seem as if he were too busy with navigation or somehting to talk. To be honest, he was a bit hesitant. He was still angry at her and honestly still didnt trust her. He had so much in his mind agaisnt her, that he wasn't sure if he could stand even being in the same ship for too long.
It was almost funny to him. Damian and Raquel both weren't exactly...well...compatible in the eyes of others. They seemed to opposite, yet here they were, kissing and necking on one another. It wa also strange that despite all the bad that both of them had done, the trouble they had caused Lorey and even Richard, ...they were still there. Richard wasn't sure why. He understood why Damian was to a certain degree. he had tried to give them all a place to live, even for a short while, so they were only slightly in his debt. But Raquel...she had only put them in danger from the very beginning. Richard sighed and pushed these thoughts out of his mind as he prepared to land.

Raquel watched in amazement as the planet came into view, and even more so as they began descending into its atmosphere *i'm not worrying about the whole pressure or burning up thing b I'm tired and don't want to buckle them in. >w<*. She was actually quite terrified but didn't let it show other than grabbing Damian's hand to keep from shaking. She had never flown before, and had just realized she wasn't scared taking off from veratia, only because she was preoccupied with a bullet in her side.

Where Raquel was holding Damian's hand during decent, Lorey was practically suffocating Richard. Her arms were wrapped tightly around his sides, though this time, her eyes were kept open. The planet was absolutely beautiful from what she could see... all water. It actually reminded her of her own eyes.

"Where are we going?' she asked, trying to get something out, just so she didn't seem silenced by the fright she had on her first landing.

Damian wondered where they would land, too. All water to his eyes didn't seem like a safe place at all, but he would resign to the fact that he was not in charge of this situation.
Looking at Raquel, he offered her a smile. At least there he could offer some kind of comfort.
"Do not worry," he whispered to her with kind eyes to match his words.

Richard smiled, patting Lorey's arm. He would have been more help but it was hard to be affectionate and land a ship. He brought the ship closer, no revealing a small island. A smile crossed his face while a frown came over Enty's he mumbled something that Richard ignored as he prepared to land. The ship seemed to stay upright and drift slowly, and controlled down to the beach. With a slight thud, and mild rocking, they were there. Richard seemed satisfied with his landing as he stood, though all at once the ship tilted to one side, sending all those on board to one side of the ship. Raquel found herself latched to Damian as they his the far wall with a dull thud. "Blasted sand! You'd think it'd be more stable! Enty! Report!" Richard barked, with Lorey in his arms. Enty mumbled something about being stuck, though he seemed preoccupied, having fallen into Raquels lap, grasping her in a rather uncomfortable manner. "Brilliance...Lets just get out and see the damage aye?" He sighed, trying to get a hold of the door, but trying to keep Lorey balanced.

Lorey didn't know much about sand in the vastness of a beach, but by the way they were thrown off-kilter so quickly, it must not have been very good.
She apologized softly for landing right in his gut after the tily, though he didn't seem to mind or notice at all.
"If we're stuck, how do we get un-stuck?" she asked, waving her arm around for balance as Richard led her out the door, or at least tried to.

When Raquel landed on Damian, he gave a great 'oof!' before swearing under his breath. Ribs still sore, it was really not a pleasant experience.
"Sorry, love," he murmured, not wanting her to think it was his fault. But with Enty, he maneuvered his foot just right so as to practically fling the creature right towards the door.
"Any more of that and I'll fashion you into a toilet seat cover!" he yelled. The entire trip had been full of that nonsense, and Damian had had enough. Easing her gently upwards, taking care not to hit her wound, he continued mumbling. "That goes for making eyes as well. You won't even have the pleasure of becoming something tasteful, like earmuffs."

For once, Damian followed Richard's example by leading Raquel towards the door as well. This planet better be beautiful, he thought, because it seemed they would spend some time there with this stuck ship.

Richard realized the ramp was a bit stuck, so with a sigh, he hopped down, holding his hands up to catch Lorey to help her down.

Raquel on the other hand blushed slightly. She was so used to being touched wrongly or inappropriately, horrid remarks, and overall negative treatment, that she had hardly noticed little Enty enjoying himself. She wasn't used to someone standing up for her...It was nice. "Sorry about your wounds..." She said quietly, touching his ribs slightly.

Enty stood and dusted himself off quite indignantly as he mumbled some Arran profanities under his breath before jumping off the ship. He walked around the ship, eying the damage. He shouted to Richard who nodded then answered Lorey's question. "Well...It sounds like we're just a bit stuck. The sand here hadn't been packed down or even touched in years probably...the sudden weight of the ship just took a toll on it...we just need a way to pull it out..." He sighed. "Other than that...a bit of sand looks like its finding a new home in some of the joints of the landing gear...wonderful..." he sighed, annoyed.

How she wished she knew anything about ships. But, she could start by learning to understand just what he was talking about.
Lorey put her hands on his shoulders before taking a little jump off the ship, and right into his arms.
"I'm sure you'll find some way to set it to rights," she assured, knowing that Richard was indeed smart as he was handsome in her eyes.

"Sorry about that little rodent touching you." Before jumping out of the craft, he kissed her unabashedly with a sly little smile. "I rather enjoyed flinging him out."
Once upon the ground (and after recovering from the shock it sent through his foot), Damian held out his arms for Raquel. "Try sitting down and sliding. Don't stress your side..."
The worry in his eyes was unmistakable. There was sand all about, and if any of that got into the bandages, it could irritate and infect her side... he wondered if there was a proper medic around.

Richard smiled, taking her in his arms as he gently let her slide down till her feet touched the sand. "I'm sure the local's wont mind helping us out...if we show up without Enty that is." he joked, giving his little friend a wink. Enty merely scowled and spat. Richard laughed a little. "Did I forget to mention, Enty was banished from this planet..was acting too human for a Arran." He chuckled. "They like their own kind to stay ritualistic, and Enty was too ...practical?" He laughed a little more as Enty walked by and punched him in the knee. Richard gave him a joking little kick in the bum before turning to Lorey and the rest. "Welcome to paradise!" He said, spreading his arms out.

Raquel rolled her eyes but complied with his request with a smile. She slid down gentling into his outstretched arms, her bare feet touching the sand below her with a slight tingle. She smiled, utterly giddy as a sweet but slightly salty breeze blew her , now longish hair back. She closed her eyes and just smiled. "I didn't know there could be places that made you smile by simply being there..." She sighed, taking in their surroundings with large eyes. She seemed to study the Jungle, though was a bit intimidated. It was dark. She didn't like the dark. Instead, she turned to the ocean. The vast wide emptiness took her breath away. She kept her hand placed firmly in Damian's as she stepped away from the group fora moment, to get a look at the incoming tide, watching it roll in and out with fascination. She seemed like she wanted to get her feet wet, though didn't move forward, a slight fear taking over her. Though she wouldn't let Damian see. "It's...prettier than the pictures I've seen..." She breathed, looking back at Damian, excited.

Welcome to paradise indeed. Lorey was still in her silky nightgown and bare feet. Her little toes were scorched by the hot sand, driving her into the wetter parts, where the waves came up. At first, they scared her, making her dance backwards like someone avoiding a bad spill, but eventually, Lorey let her feet get lost in the sands.
"Beautiful," she whispered. Cobalt eyes met the matching ocean. Like Raquel, the empty horizon made her stop for a moment, just to think. how had she ended up here, with a wonderful man who loved her and who she loved as well? That was what made it paradise, not anything else.
"Richard," she said, turning to him with laughter coloring her words. "Is that what I'm going to learn to swim in? All that beautiful blue?"
Once more she let out a laugh, simply because it was wonderful and amazing to behold.

Damian bent down to take off his shoes before the tide made them wet, though he noticed Raquel didn't want to experience that just yet. It was alright, he thought. Though the strangest thing of all was how Lorey had made the move before Raquel, and she was more in the habit of not taking risks.

"Is it?" he asked, not knowing what pictures she had seen at all. "We should go swimming later. Get our feet a little wet, you know?"
Damian shifted so that he could embrace her from behind, kissing her shoulders gently, before looking out at the same ocean. "Take advantage of this world while you're here."

Riachrd just smiled at her. She was so wonderful. "Yes...yes That's the thing that envies you because of your eyes..." He whispered to her softly. The idea of teaching her to swim seemed lovely to him...though he may start her off in some calmer water.

Raquel bit her lip, but gave Damian a nervous smile. "oh I don't know...I've never really been swimming before...I mean I think I know how...like I can remember being taught...at some point..." She chuckled at her own memory lapse but looked back at the ocean a bit distantly. "It is beautiful though..." She said though her brow was furrowed.

She couldn't really see why the ocean would envy her, such a little thing of all things to envy. But once more, she laughed.
"Let's hope there are no hard feelings and it doesn't suck me under..." A very real fear was drowning, but she would learn not to. She was determined.

Lorey's attention went from the horizon right to the ground. It was covered in little shells and rocks, each one colored brilliantly. Of course she was quite taken by a smaller, spiraled shell, taking it up in her palm to have a look.
"These are so much nicer than the fake ones they sold back home--"

She stopped. Six little legs and two little eyes had popped out of the shell, causing her to scream. The creature went flying up in the air from her shock, much to her dismay. And no sooner had it been airborne (the little crab retucking itself back in), Lorey had caught it once more.
"Ahh..." She was actually shaking. Shaking, from a little thing like that! Well, she wouldn't have it. With patience, she reopened her palm to reveal the shell. "What... what is it?" Lorey asked, peering at the little creature who only poked out it's eyes and blinked after that fiasco.

"It might be best to--" Damian was cut off by Lorey's scream. "Girl's never seen a crab," he whispered, before returning his now very amused face to Raquel. "Anyhow, it might be best to wait because of your side, yes?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 06, 2009 3:33 pm

Richard jumped a mile as well, and tried his best to not laugh. "Lorey dear...thats a crab....a little..well...crustation?" he wasn't sure how to describe it. "They make their homes in those pretty little shells and move on when they out grow them. finding a bigger one...like we do with out clothes..." he laughed a little more, but tried not to make her feel bad. "Looks like you scared him to death..." He joked, poking the little shell.

Raquel sighed though wasn't terribly disapointed. She was about to say something else when They heard Enty give out a cry. They turned to see about half a dozen fuzzy little teddy bear creatures, poking and prodding Enty with spears, chanting in some primitive language.

Richard sighed, leaving Lorey's side to come to Enty's. "Ah...erm, Unada tensu. eh- Enty, Comprodan enstem. friends? Oradicon he eli Veriatia." Richard struggled as he spat out various words and phrases. He had picked up a bit of Arran over the years, though was still a bit sketchy at it. He seemed to be trying to convince the fuzzy little bears that Enty was here as a friend and brought visitors.

"Ooh..." The crab enjoyed looking at Lorey once he realized she wasn't about to eat him, and even took the liberty of bringing out his legs once more. She thought he had the distinct look of a spider, and while she didn't like spiders, she did take a liking to this little thing.
"Sorry about that," she whispered to it, and just as Enty gave out his cry, set him back down on the sand where he made his swift getaway.

Seeing one Enty was enough of an experience for her, but seeing a whole group... it was a bit intimidating.
Lorey hung back, not wanting to get in the way of a possible conflict.

Damian, on the other hand, wasn't about to come to anyone's aid, let alone Enty's. He was a perverted little furball.
He took Raquel gently by the elbow to stand by Lorey, wondering what sort of trouble they'd find themselves in now.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 06, 2009 3:49 pm

While Richard was seemingly saving Enty's hide from being tanned, a few more fuzzy heads poked out from the brush behind the smaller group of Arrans. One ecspecially tiny little head seemed to fall forward, and stumbled out into the open. While everyone was distracted with yelling nad pointing, the little fuzzy arran, seemingly young, judging by his size and way he held himself, stumbled forward towards the group of three off to the side. Raquel let her arm slip from Damian's, a tiny smile crossing her lips. "Aw...he's so cute!" She cooed, looking up at Lorey, who she figured would appreciate something like that, at least more than Damian. The mini bear seemed to be sucking his thumb as he waddled closer to them. Raquel held her hand out to him, when a cry from where he came from was heard. Another arran seemed to be terrified that its baby was heading towards these strangers. but the little one didn't seem scared, and neither did Raquel. It touched her hand inquisitively, babbling in a tiny voice that made Raquel's heart melt. The little thing hugged her arm and then held up his hands to her as if asking to be held. Raquel looked up a bit unsure, the carefully lifted the little creature to cradled in her arms. "Oh..." She said softly, looking at its large but soft greenish brown eyes. She smiled. A genuine, happy smile. By now the little introduction seemed to atract attention. The Arrans yelling at Enty seemed to beheading over, saying something to Richard. The one Arran that had freaked was now calm, seeing his baby in good hands.

Richard rubbed the back of his neck, not sure of what to make out of all this. "Um...They say something about you being kind? and that kind people are welcome here, despite bringing the banished one with them..." He added, pointing back to Enty who huffed angrily. But Raquel didn't seem to hear him. Instead she turned to Lorey, an adoring smile on her face. "Look at its little nose!" She squealed, though a bit soft so as not to startle the little bundle in her arms.

"And his eyes!" Lorey held out her finger to gently stroke his arm. The finger in question was swiftly taken up by his little paw and shaken inquisitively, only making her laugh and smile even more. Damian, honestly, did not like baby anythings. They were loud, messy and troublesome... but seeing Raquel with it in her arms made him smile. She could use this as proof that she had a good heart.

"It knows you are good," he whispered to Raquel, flashing a little smile at it and the surrounding bear-like people. "Both of you."

Lorey cooed and coddled over it just as Raquel was, not even minding when it brought her finger right into it's teething mouth.
"Aha... and little teeth," she said, grimacing just a bit as she was contentedly chewed upon.
