As I'm sure you know most people have different opinions on what is right for their dogs. but what some people think it right for their dog may be harsh or mean. so post a reply (please) saying what you think is O.K. and what is not.

1. Is it ok to never let your dog inside a house (except for emergencies). Keep him outside 24/7 with or without a doghouse?

2. Always have your dog chained up outside unless you are playing with him or something. Never inside.

3. Dog is allowed inside, but when outside always chained up?

4. Underfeeding him because he is overweight. (like, one cup of food a day or something.) *Without vet reccomendation.

5. Hitting your dog hard when he misbehaves.

6. Not training your dog things like sit, heel, lay down, the more needed tricks.

7. not teaching your dog things like roll over, play dead, spin, the more cute tricks.

thanks and please reply!

1. Is it ok to never let your dog inside a house (except for emergencies). Keep him outside 24/7 with or without a doghouse? No, that deprives the dog of basic needs such as shelter, access to water and food.

2. Always have your dog chained up outside unless you are playing with him or something. Never inside. Never

3. Dog is allowed inside, but when outside always chained up? No. (this one is a bit redundant)

4. Underfeeding him because he is overweight. (like, one cup of food a day or something.) *Without vet reccomendation. It is fine so long as it is recommended by a vet, and isn't continued for an extensive period of time. I have to do this for my blue pit because her vet says she needs to loose 25 pounds before she is even near the "healthier region", and although I do this i am not torturing her because I slowly decrease the amount of food given over a few days while improving the quality. Since I often cook for my dogs.

5. Hitting your dog hard when he misbehaves. No, a tap on the nose or a light warning pinch is far better. Intense hitting will only A) scare the dog, B) anger the dog, or C) cause a mental imbalance.

6. Not training your dog things like sit, heel, lay down, the more needed tricks. No, basic training is a must because it can prevent accidents form occuring in the future, it also helps to establish your dogs role in the pack (meaning your family)

7. not teaching your dog things like roll over, play dead, spin, the more cute tricks. It is fine not to teach them these things, but doing so is not cruel. By teaching them a variety of tricks it helps exorcise them both mentally and physically. It is also enjoyable for the dog because they get treats and praise, and to them it is a form of play.
