There was a brief mention of this series (by me ninja ) in the Holodeck, but I felt that it needed it's own fan thread. lol
The Sword of Truth series follows Richard Cypher, the first true Seeker of Truth in thousands of years. He is accompanied by his friends Zedd, a wizard of the First Order, and Kahlan, the last Confessor.
These books are full of magic, drama, and a slew of characters that you will love.
I really suck at summarizing without giving away all of the plotlines, so I'll say this: READ THESE BOOKS BY TERRY GOODKIND!

Yes, I know that's quite a list of books to read, but I promise you won't be disappointed. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you will love these books. Here's the catch: Terry can get a bit preachy, I remember several chapters that I had to trudge through, but the payoff is worth it!
READ 'EM!

Just finished re-reading Wizard's First Rule. It's STILL one of my Favorites!
One of my favorite parts involves Denna, a Mord-Sith, and Richard Cypher, the Seeker of Truth. Denna captures the magic of the Sword of Truth when Richard attempts to use it against her, then she proceeds to torture him in ways that only Mord-Sith can.
The whole "scene" is emotionally charged and won't let me put the book down! I love this book!
