Bekile heaved a sigh as she yawned lazily. It was just one of those days it seemed. The prey were all bunked down somewhere, no doubt smelling the coming rains in the air. Normally the dusky blue lioness would be bedding down in her own cave but this time, she was pacing the endge of the swamp lands.

Syrius
Snoo paused for a moment and looked back towards the little cheetahress whom was travelling closely behind him. "are you okay Silvatica?" he smiled nudging the little cheetah forwards gently, it was getting boggy so close to the swamps and the little cheetahs long legs wern't helping her.

Silvatica smiled and nuzzled Snoo. "I'm fine Snoo, I think we should start heading away fromt he swamps though." She giggled looking ahead,s he spotted the lioness. "Theres a lion, do you think we should ask for directions?

keantha
The blowing wind brought the scent of the two strangers to her nose causing her to turns towards them, her violet eyes sharp, but the look in her eyes seemed friendly enough.

Syrius
The pale leopard stepped forwards and smiled lightly, his ears flickering. "excuse me ma'am" he cleared his throat padding towards her, "we're a little lost could you give us some directions?"

The little cheetahress padded up behind hte big leopard and stood a little back and behind the big male, she wasn't frightened so to speak, but she knew that some lions wernt' freindly to leopards and cheetahs.

keantha
She smiled watching them. It was clear the leopard was protective of the strange female creature behind him. "You are very lost. I am not sure I can help you but I will try. Perhaps though you could tell me what that little thing behind you is?"

Syrius
Snoo raised a brow at the lioness, she seemed old enough to know what a cheetah was? Well some never saw one he supposed and these swamps probably didn't attract them. "This is silvatica she is a cheetah and I'm Snoo, we are uhm, looking for a forest but we seem to have strayed towards the swamps."

Silvatica moved a little and padded towards the lioness with a gentle, little smile. "Havn't you ever seen a cheetah miss?" She whispers her voice gentle as a mornings breeze.

keantha
Bekile shook her head moving towards Silvatica to sniff the little cheetah over, careful not to push her about to hard and possibly hurt her. "No I have not seen one of your kind before little one."

Syrius
Snoo watched the lioness carefully though he kept a smile on his maw. "I don't suppsoe you see any int he seamps, cheetahs arn't really built to run the boggy lands."

Silvatica smiles. "that tickles." She giggles, she was after all still very young, a smile graced her maw as she sniffed the lioenss back, she couldn't remember if she had ever been this close to a lioness, espcially a curious one.

keantha
Bekile as if sensing she was a cub couldn't help her response to nuzzle the small female gently a soft rumbling purr growing in her chest. "No, and I have only seen one of your kind..Snoo was it?"

Syrius
Snoo nodded gently "Yes ma'am, well we do prefare the trees rather than the swamps too." He relaxed a little watching the lioness almost baby the little cheetahress.

Silvatica puurred back and nosed the large lioness happily. "I'v never seen a lion so close before." She giggles looking at Snoo with a grin. "I wish all lions were nice like you."

keantha
"Well I have a soft spot for all things baby." She chuckled again absently grooming the little cub. "I will be happy to show you the way back to the forest."

Syrius
Snoo chuckled "well silvatica isn't really a cub, she's young yes but past the age of cub hood." The leopard smiled appreciatively "That would be much appreciated ma'am."

Silvatica giggled and puurred happily at the grooming. "Oh I'm nto a cub I'm nearly an adult!" She grinned. "I'm out in the world seeking my own stories to tell."

keantha
"You?! "Bekile blinked in shock looking at the Cheetah. "Why you can't be that old. You are so tiny!"

Syrius
Silvatica giggled softly. "Oh no ma'am I'm nearly fully grown, all cheetahs are slight of build, it's so we can run really fast, if you can get us off this soggy land I'll show you if you want.

Snoo shook his head lightly, he felt a little baffled that the lioness knew nothing of cheetahs.

keantha
"I do not want to wander to far from my pride's lands. " Her smile was gentle as she got to her feet. "But come I will show you the way back to the forest."

Syrius
Snoo got to his paws and followed the lioness. "Thankyou, it's much appreciated." He smiled looking back for silvaticva.

The little cheetahress puurred happily and hopped after the two her light and springy step slightly daunted by the softer land. "I'm dying to stretch my legs again, it's so hard on this soil."

keantha
Bekile chuckled softly , her tip of her tail twitching with her amusement. "It is easy to get lost around here. Most of the swamp lands look the same.

Syrius
Snoo nodded looking ahead he could finally see the forest lands. he breathed a heavy igh of releif. "thank god, i thought we would be lost forever. thankyou." He grinned.

Silvatica whooped and picking up her paws started to run, not as fast as she usually would have but certainly showing the speed she could go. "Come on Snoo! I want to sleep and clean my paws!"

keantha
Bekile laughed softly at the young females excited nature. "Be safe you two. Watch yourself if you wander back into the swamps not every lion is as friendly as I am to stranger." She sat down to watch them safely out of the swamps

Syrius
Snoo gave a gentle bow to the lioness and padded off after Silvatica. "Thanks again!" He smiled glad to have met a friend but also glad to be getting out of the murky swamp. he would make sure not to stray this way again.
