Why it hadn't been thought of earlier was a mystery. They were Arrikanez! Rulers of their domain and certainly wealthy enough to have long since funded a playroom for the kids. It wasn't that it was a new addition, but a new concept to Donna who had only just remembered it and decided to introduce her child to it. Knowing he would be safe there and thus needing less supervision for the time, she'd dropped him off there just after noon when the other residents of the castle would also be leaving their tots to play after having had lunch. Waving goodbye she had left him there, which had turned out to be fine for him.

Tristan was getting used to his independence and felt comfortable enough in the playroom to venture into the center of the chamber and begin inspecting the toys. A few others seemed to filter in, but they were regarded with little more than a nod or a wave from the quiet child. He'd never met most of them, as there were always an abundance of kids in the castle, so he kept to himself as he commandeered a set of building blocks and idly began constructing a random structure to pass the time.

The quiet child wouldn't recognize, then, the feeling of dread that suddenly descended upon the playroom for a brief moment, and wouldn't find it at all odd that there were two children there now, that didn't belong - and a black haired figure in a robe, scythe behind him, seated on thin air. There was a red, pulsing aura around the teen... and a similar aura around the two that came into existence with the teen's appearance. That reddish hue faded when the odd teen faded away, but he left the two children in his wake. A blond-furred bunny boy, with distinctly 'pirate' attire, and an odd forked-tongued, partly-scaled boy in similar attire, both wielding short toy swords, and both immediately deciding to gang up on Tristan - the quietest and least assuming child there. The rabbit - obviously older than Tristan - poked at the earth-child with his toy sword.
"Yer new."

The boy looked up at the bunny and quirked a brow. He'd thought Amber and Reever were the only rabbits around here, but obviously that had been a false assumption. He looked him over for a minute before following the toy blade down to where it had settled. Tristan gently pushed it away and nodded. "I am. My name's Tristan." The sword prodding hadn't bothered him terribly much but a slight air of annoyance was obvious. After all, who liked getting poked around with some silly sword?

The bunny pointed to himself proudly, and puffed his chest.
"I'm Raskiir. This." he gestured to the snake child. "Is Riimorei."
"Rii for short, pipssssqueak."
The snake seemed to have a hissing problem. And it didn't help matters that he seemed to be just as much of a bully as his twin. Although calling them twins was a bit of a stretch...
"So... whatcha dooooin, Tristan.

The pair reminded him a lot of his mom, as it were. Donna could appear equally as intimidating at times and a bit arrogant towards other adults, so the child had learned how to deal with such displays. He smiled a little and motioned to the blocks. "Buildin`. You wanna join me, or are ya gonna keep pokin me with that sword?" Hopefully they wouldn't take it as a smart remark - even though it was, and simply deflate. Something told him they weren't going to give up that easy, by the expression of the other children in the room, so he shifted a little in discomfort as he met their gaze.

The rabbit seemed willing to cave in to play, but Rii laughed, his snake-tongue lashing in then out, as he 'accidentally' knocked over what Tristan was playing with, then glared at him. As if daring him to make a move.
"Oopsssss."
Rii stood there with his hands on his hips, the sword still clenched in one of them.
"Whatcha gonna do now, wusssss?"

Tristan glared at him. The bunny boy was alright but he'd just found a distinct, if a shallow, dislike for the reptile. He picked up the blocks and pushed some towards Raskir, giving Rii the cold shoulder. "I'mma rebuild them. Just cause you can't doesn't mean I can't build somethin."
PostPosted: Sat Apr 04, 2009 3:10 pm

Rask shook his head at his brother, and knelt, helping to build up the blocks again. Rii stalked off with a slightly wounded air about him, but seemed to busy himself with toy boats in another part of the room.
"Sorry 'bout that... Rii's got a mean streak. 'ere.... Lemme show ya somethin'."

The boy relented a little, not bothering to pursue the snake boy's attitude. Tristan figured he'd come to play when he was ready, or just wouldn't - either outcome suited him fine now that he had a playmate. He smiled a little at Rask, shrugging. "It's ok. Maybe he'll come back when he's done bein` that way." Offering a few more blocks, he seemed curious as to what Rask was talking about.

Within a few moments, Raskiir had a sort of half-ship going with the blocks, somehow making them all work together in such a way as to look like what he intended. His eyes sought Tristan's approval.

Tristan was more than impressed. He wasn't well versed in engineering but even he knew that square blocks didn't easily make a a curve. The structure was still fairly blocky, but it was more than he had yet managed. "That's really good. I'm buildin a castle." The boy nodded to the blocks he'd stacked up into a square structure, one side looking to be a tower of sorts for its height. Not as fancy, but he still looked to see what Rask thought of the idea.

The rabbit grinned, and knocked down his own ship, scooting over to see what the castle looked like. His eyes widened as he saw the size of the structure, and he poked it - gently - with his sword, before putting it down.
"Wooooow... How'd you do that?"

The boy shrugged, striving to reach the top of the seventh block with a triangle shaped block to finish it. Thankfully it was stable enough and didn't fall as he leaned a little in and topped it. "All ya do is stack em. Your ship is more fancy than this.”

Regardless of what the other said, Rask was suitably impressed. He grinned, and added a few blocks to the side. A few changes here... this one like... SO. And now the castle had a garage.
"Tadaa!"
Riimorei looked over at the two playing, and shrugged. Nothing much to him. He'd MUCH rather wreck things... Or.. well... he thought that's what he wanted anyway.

"That's good! How about a moat? We could get some blue blocks and put a boat on it." Tristan grabbed a few from around the area and put them around the castle in a funky shape that kinda looked like a circular river. "Now all we need is a boat."
