This wasn't on any forum, but in my boyfriend's dorm wall.
It was "Men's Night" and whatnot, so they had a poker table set up.
There was only one problem.
"Pocker nite here"
Now, I have no problem with "nite," in fact, it's cool with me. But..."pocker"? Painted in black for the whole world to see how @#$#%!ing illiterate the dorms seem to be? Hell no, that's messed up. Remember, there is no spell check with paint!! burning_eyes

Wow. x_x
The closest experience I have to share is the day that a recently new member to chess club had spelt "checkers" on their shirt as "Chex-ers".
And what an amazing beat-down that was... lol I'm just lucky to be apart of one of the most literate clubs in school. (Book club first, then Chess. 4laugh )

The worst part, no one cared.
My boyfriend just looked at me and said, "you may as well get used to it." Today, it was taken down, and I felt a little better but still. At least, if you don't know how to spell something, ask before you paint.

How is it possible to misspell "poker?"
Maybe he knew it was spelled incorrectly after the fact, and was simply too lazy to change it?
