Balinese lays in her bed staring at the wall and listening to the rain. It had been raining for six days and she was getting tired of being stuck inside. She had watched all her shows and read all her books. There just wasn't anything else to do inside. Finally dragging herself out of bed she walks out of the room to feed her cats.
Walking into the kitchean she puts down food for the cats. Looking around she frowns wondering where said cats are. "Harvard? Sagittarius? Food!"
She looks around still not seeing them. Looking worried she starts searching for them. Hearing a loud thud from the other room she quickly walks into it and finds her cats playing with an envelope. She pulls the envelope away from them. "Now where did this come from?"
Balinese studies the letter. It had her name, the name of another, and directions to the old mansion. And it was signed "The House". Balinese frowns at it and wonders who "The House" is.
"Should I go? That place is pretty spooky. Is it even safe? And how did this get here?" she murmured to herself. She walks out of the room and back to the kitchean to make herself dinner and study the letter. Finally coming to a decision she hops in her car and drives to the old mansion.
Balinese sits in her car staring at the mansion. After a moment she takes a deep breath and gets out of her car. Balinese walks around the whole thing looking for anything unusual. Not seeing anything she walks up to the front door and knocks. She stands there and waits for a while. After a while she touches the doorknob lightly. The door swings open without a sound. She steps inside and looks around.
"Hello? Anyone here?" she calls. Not getting an answer she steps in further. The door swings slightly shut behind her. Slowly she walks forwards and looks around. She carefully starts to explore the place. Hearing a faint noise she turns towards it. Looking down a long hallway she sees a door almost hidden by dark drapes. Walking over to it she slips into the room. The room is very dark and gloomy.
Seeing a faint movement she moves towards it. Leaning over the bed she sees a baby in the bed. Carefully she picks him up and holds him close. She looks at the child she holds wishing for light to see him better. But she has the feeling that light wouldn't be good for him. So she stands there and holds him gently.

Bali steps into a dark room with Kaula. Holding the baby close with one arm she feels along the wall looking for a light switch. She catches her foot on something and starts to fall. Quickly she twists around to avoid falling on Kaula.

Landing on her rear she sits quietly blinking. Kaula pats her cheek and looks aorund as well. He makes a happying cooing noise at the dark.

"I'm glad you like it but we need to find out what's going on here." Bali says in amusement.
