Does anyone know how long it takes a grass patch to grow back? I don't want to time travel above the amount of time needed.

Well, it should grow back faster if you plant a bunch of flowers and trees on it... A week, maybe two weeks? I'm not sure; I never really tried to get it to grow back. I find that it makes helpful paths for visiting people.

i heard from people that time traveled in the game, that late april and in may is the rainy seasons and the rain helps grass grow twice as fast

yes if you dont time travel make a lovely path for them and if u dont step on it itll grow back but otherwise TT to grow it back like 2-3weeks

if you come to my town there is a HUGE patch where there is no grass it's where all my fruit is and my shop so it's hard not to walk on it. I once time traveled a whole month and it was the same lucky for me whisp was there the next day to get rid of the weeds
I hate time traveling and I like not cheating but it's driving me mad scream and I can't get the golden watering can when the patch is there crying

You can't get a perfect town without as much grass as you started with? That's cruel. That's very very cruel. It's such a shame that they put that feature in - I thought it sounded fairly cool, but it looks terrible, and it's just annoying.

not with all the grass you started with but still alot and the patch is huge crying if anyone comes to my town I'll show you how bad it was, If I had known that the grass dies I would not have run stressed

i wish nintendo never added this feature. its stupid and annoying. my town looks so boring and ugly since i lost a lot of grass. there are so many dirt patches...

I am starting to get some grass to grow back but I have added a path and I am planting more trees and a lot of Flowers now.
