Almost like a R H Y T H M to a S O N GWell theres a big difference for what we want and whats good for the guild.
A good contest that incorperate both would be a recruitment contest, something to get multiple people to join this guild at once. The top three people who can get the most peope to accept an invitation to the guild wins a 10k prize or something like that.
Also, a monthly RP that would be created by all the mods who collaborated should take place. This would show members that the mods are still around while also giving us a new RP to have fun with.
Many people quest Avi art too, affiliate the guild with an art shop or something and get Avi art for contest winners as a prize.
Also, writing contests in an role play guild would be interesting, showing the literacy of guild members while allowing us to express out creativity.
To Do this, creating a guild mule would be essential to allow people to donate money to be stored for later usage of the guild. Also, show the people that this guild isn't dead, becaus your getting about three posts a day here, -.- showing people that your still active is a great way to spark attention to members of the guild who don't post here. The Subtle Lord I hate having to repeat myself...

the prizes differ from month to month. Please read the announcements, they are updated often and explain everything about everything that's going on in the guild. Though we were having trouble with last month's contest (as no one was posting currently, so we didn't really have a fair cut for a winner(s), February's monthly contest winners and prizes are posted in the Monthly Events Forum. If you have an item you really want, please suggest it, it might end up being one of the prizes!

okay i have a suggestion but it's not really that good
first i want to know if many here likes reading mangas or watching animes
'cuz my suggestion is that maybe we could make a forum where they could take a quiz about mangas and animes AND a chatroom where you can talk about animes and mangas.
btw by quizzes i mean like the crews or certain ppl would make a list of questions and then we (the members) will mail you our answers and who ever pass the test they would recieve something [idk what prize or something]

i do too, there is however, already a chatting forum you can just randomly talk about anime, if you want me to make an anime thread I can but I'm going to wait til I have finished with the other forums and it's become more lively to add another chatting forum for strictly anime/manga. I don't mean to sound mean they just cost 2,500 gold for each sub forum.

@Subtle: I really like that idea of yours! : O
- the contest idea is a really good one. And it would probably be pretty simple to make also.
-the monthly roleplay idea is also really creative. The only problemwould probably be getting the roleplayers to join.
-Avi art is really easy to, and I've always wanted to make an avatar art shop anyways ^^
Also we actually already have a guild mule.
Maybe we could make a new forum entirely around the idea of having contests made by mods. A variety of different ones and maybe voting for the next manga or anime so it isn't some random one no one in the guild has ever heard of.
