What a boring day it was.
The sky was beginning to become dark gray with clouds; a rare occurrence on the savanna. When it rained, it usually rained a lot. But that wasn't necessarily true, Sho suddenly though. Sometimes it only rained for a few seconds, then stopped. So the cub gazed at the sky, mouth open in a small "o" and pink eyes lax in a blank stare. Maybe he was waiting to feel a rain drop, or maybe he was just enjoying watching the sky change colors...Whatever the case, the cub was sitting in the dust, just existing in the day.
He never expected someone to interrupt his sky-watching.

It hadn't occurred to Tamu that another cub would be out on the savannah. Though it was filled with life, he had only ever seen cubs in the jungle and forest, and automatically assumed that it was a rare thing for them to come out onto the open plains, making him some sort of brave warrior.
The cool breeze and the darkening sky made him smile; although he was sad to see the sun go, he knew that rain would make more life, and life made Tamu happy.
Slinking in the tall grass, Tamu clawed his way over near the other cub, tongue hanging from his mouth. His brown eyes narrowed, and a wicked grin appeared on his face as he thought of how to approach this new cub to befriend him.
With paws spread, Tamu lept from the earth, tumbling over onto the similarly colored cub, gawking at him as he layed on top of him.
