I don't know if anyone has asked this already, but is there a possibility that the last two episodes of the past season of Doctor Who could have been set in a parallel universe?
My reasoning is that in the second to last episode ( I think it was called the stolen earth?) When The Doctor and Donna were in the Shadow Proclamation, one of the people there said to Donna " there's something on your back" and that was what made it obvious to us in the previous episode Turn Left that what was happening was a parallel version of Donna's life.
So, does this mean Donna may come back or something?

I don't think they would since if she remembers she dies. But they might create a loop hole somehow.

I don't think so, because in The Fires of Pompeii, Evelina (that Roman seer in the yellow dress) said there was something on Donna's back and that was before Turn Left, when the alternate universe was created.

Actually, if she remembers, her head explodes or something. But you get the idea.
I'm not sure about that idea.. I know there WAS something on her back, which correlates to the small conversation in Stolen Earth about it.

Actually, the girl who gave her the water in The Stolen Earth first said "Take the water, it purifies" and then whispered, "There was something on your back" not "there is something on your back." Or so I think.

Sometimes i wish that Donna would come back. I think she was better that Rose.

Or so I think. That could easily be seen as her having SEEN the thing on her back therefor putting it into past tense. Like when you think you see something you say "it was there" even though if it was there it should still obviously be there. Also, they knocked down the walls of the parallel universes and I'm pretty sure that means that the same things happened in every one of them.

I wondered about that comment myself, but I don't think that Donna is going to come back. Not from an alternative universe, not from "this" universe. I mean, we haven't even seen what became of Jenny, and she left with... Quite a dramatic exit... Which Donna didn't.

omg amazing suggestion and idea, but, if it was a parallel world, Donna, she wouldn't of known the Doctor..right?
