 Flurry sat out by the water. The snow was mostly gone and the water was no longer frozen. The male sighed deeply before laying his head on his front paws. He liked the cold and the snow. He didn't like the warm weather. Why couldn't it stay cold and snow all the time? He was lost in deep in his thoughts.

 Noami wandered around the area by the lake, taking in the scenery. The snow had all melted, green grass was showing and flowers were blooming. Trees were budding. It was beautiful, but still not quite as beautiful as the winter wonderland that she loved. But she had learned to appreciate all seasons, even the hot ones.
As she was walking by one side of the water she noticed a male sitting near by. He was an icy blue color. She might not have noticed him, had there still been snow on the ground, but since there was none she spotted him quite easily.
She walked over to him and quietly said, "Hello."

Flurry looked up to see a green and snowy looking female beside him. She spoke which caused him to blink for a second. Once he realized that yes she was speaking to him he lifted his head and body to sit up. Finally after all of that he spoke. "Hello."

She smiled softly and spoke in a pleasant voice. "Hi. My name is Naomi. May I ask you yours?" She sat up straight and properly, but not in a stuck up sort of way. She was kind, and you could see that in her smile.

"I guess you may. I'm called Flurry." He told her, he didn't say happy to meet you or other suck nonsense. No point in saying something like that unless you mean it. Anyway, how was he to know it he was 'happy' to meet her yet anyway? "So, what are you doing out here?" He finally asked something to try and be polite.

"Flurry?" She said. "Like snow!" ^^ She smiled and then said, as it was polite for her, "Nice to meet you, Flurry!" But Noami was the kind of namir who genuinely meant those things when she said them.
She looked around a bit and then said, "I just came to look around. To see the new atmosphere with all the snow gone. What are you doing out here, Flurry?"

Flurry nodded. "Yep, like snow." He looked to his pelt that was covered with snowflakes. "It's down right depression." That's what he meant to the new 'atmosphere'. Everything is green and dry. It's just not right." He didn't tell her what he was up to because well, even he didn't really know.

"Depression?" She asked, a slight worried look on her face as she looked around. "It's not really that bad, is it? The snow will come again...and without spring...we wouldn't have flowers." She smiled slightly, trying to make light of the situation, trying to be positive.

"Flowers, huh? Show me one that's worth it." He sat up and looked around. This would be a good idea. Maybe he'd see something good at the weather and then maybe he would feel better. Anyway, sitting around was getting boring.

Naomi tilted her head. He didn't seem to think it was that great, yet there was something hopeful in his voice. She smiled softly and said, "Alright, let's look for one." She got up and started walking over to some daffodils that were swaying gently. They weren't her favorite type of flower, but they were pretty.

Flurry got up and followed the female to the yellow flowers. He looked at them for a moment. The male then bent down and sniffed them. They didn't seem that good but they were okay to look at. "I guess they are nice. If you like that sort of thing." He said with a nod.

"Oh...right. Not everyone likes flowers." She nudged one gently with her nose to watch it sway from the pressure. "So there's not anything you like about spring?"

Flurry looked up at the sky and then to the ground. "I really don't know. I guess there might be something good from this. I'm just not sure what. Got any ideas?" He decided to try and be a little nice for a change.

She watched the flower continue to sway as she thought about his question. It didn't take long for the flower to become stationary again (except for the slight breeze) and she raised her head up and looked towards the sky.
"Spring is what brings new life. Life goes on just like the seasons do. Things die, and then they are reborn again. It's like the planet recycles itself!" She crinkled her face into a smile and let out a soft sigh. "Well in any case, Spring is something that can't be avoided, right? So there is no point in being upset about it. When winter comes around again it will be fully welcomed back and appreciated by snow lovers alike." She tilted her head down and looked back at Flurry. "What do you think?"

Flurry nodded as he listened to her. Seemed like she had it all figured out. "I guess you're right. No point being upset, although I still don't' like it." He chuckled as he sat up a little. The sky was so blue and peaceful he couldn't help but give a small smile.
