Physical Description: Growing to a handsome young man Milan takes after both his mother and father, he is tall and thin like his father, but takes his mother's light skin and is easily burned if in the sun for too long. His tawny hair is kept short and clean cut to keep the curls at bay. His hands are often stained with different dyes and remedies as he learns their practical uses, and he often cannot feel his fingers from numbweed mixtures.

Personality: Confident and laid back, Milan is certain of his skills in life and knows he will go far, although whether he actually does only turns will tell. He is slow to anger, and level headed. He has a real passion for healing and hopes one day to save lives. He is caring and compassionate. Leaning more to the feminine side of things, and is in fact homosexual, although he hides his sexual orientation from his brother in fear that he will not understand.

The counterpart to his younger brother he is not all together competitive but knows that the competition is something that drives Mathyn to be the best that he can be, so Milan will often play along and can get caught up in the spirit of games. His sense of humor is endless and he loves a good joke or song. His favorite times of the turn are gathers where he can gossip and learn more about life outside of Fort Hold.
History:
Mathyn and Milan were born in Fort Hold, their mother and father a healer and harper, respectively. They are not well to do, but they live comfortably. Both parents instruct their children and feel that education, particularly in healing is extremely important. Because of the family’s emphasis on knowledge, learning, and talent the boys develop something of a strong sibling rivalry with one another. Both boys were accepted as apprentices in the HealerCraft, although Milan takes more of a shine to knowledge and helpfulness.

A moment of note in their lives is when their father came into the possession of a firelizard egg and not wanting to favor one boy over the other suggested that they both take care of it in shifts, the one it hatches on gets to keep the lizard—a game of sorts. With excitement they waited and dutifully cared for the egg, and eventually it hatched on Milan’s watch. Mathyn since this moment has wanted to upstage his brother in every effort.

With Mathyn’s acceptance in becoming a candidate Milan is really unphased, although jealous that his brother gets to have an experience he will not have. Milan takes this is stride and will continue his studies in healing and pleasing his mother’s wishes. His mother is currently trying to find a good woman, much to his dismay, for him to court. Milan is rounding towards the end of his apprenticeship and is expected in coming turns to walk the tables.

Other/Talents: Not terribly talented in healing, but willing to listen and learn, he is better at the knowledge aspect rather than practical healing, quick to spout off answers but slow to act.

Sorry that I am creating so many characters and causing work, I just really wanted to have someone that Mathyn could correspond with in his excitement (and for braggin' rights XD) and the family is very close.
