Physical Description: Quite plump! Aleema has never, not once, turned down a sweet cake or treat when offered to her, she eats as a comfort as well as necessity. She has thick chocolate colored hair that is tied tightly in a braid at all times, curls and fly away hair often pull through the tight braid and she rebraids it often. Her complexion is light, not being exposed to much light in cold region of her birth, as well as coming from a long line of miners.

Personality: Warm and bubbly, she’s always been kind to others and tends to cheer for the underdog in any situation. She is quite motherly and has been this way since her youth. There quite literally is not a mean bone in this healer’s body. She has many feelings of inadequacy as a mother, but not as a healer. She has a very hard time with punishment, no matter how minimal the task and will often avoid or pass off the task onto another journeyman.

She has a hard time with incompetence, especially when lives are at stake. She cannot fathom allowing someone to hurt needlessly, and is very liberal with the numbweed.

History: Aleema was born to a prosperous mining family in Crom Hold, she has two older brothers, who work in the mines, and a younger “sister” that her family fostered. In Crom she followed around and assisted the local healer helping him in any way she could, he taught her minor first aid procedures and to set bones and seeing that the girl took a shining to it decided that she move on to the Craft Hall for a proper apprenticeship.

Aleema at first was so shocked at being away from home that for the first time in her life was not eating and lost quite a bit of weight. She worried well into the night most nights, about if she was good enough to be where she was and through great studying and determination gained the knowledge needed to move on to be a journeyman healer.

She met Mattis , her espoused, in her first year on an assignment in High Reaches where their courtship started. They had seen one another in passing at Fort Hold, but of course busy apprentices do not often cross paths in different Halls. Falling head over heels both journeymen wanted a few years to establish themselves before having children. After quite a few years of being on assignments in different holds they both settled back into Fort Hold. Their first son, Milan was born and soon after Mathyn. Aleema’s life has been completely about training the next generation of healers, and her hopes that both boys will be amazing healers.

Other/Talents: A talent with needle and thread: her stitches are straight and skin heals with minimal scaring, something she prides herself on. The motherly personality is also a great skill for a healer.
