I know that michael vick is going to be under control of the Falcons, but they already have a good QB...So what happens to Michael, and im in the dark when it comes to his release and how he is supposed to come back to the NFL, Could Somone explain to me what the Deal is with Vick???

The Falcons will either trade his rights or put them up for auction, or even let his contract go. The Falcons want to move forward without him, and are currently trying to retrieve as much money back as they can.

That is an astute estimate. I see the Falcons maybe getting a 7th or 6th rd pick for him. Low cost and low risk. That is if a team wants to pay Vick his money he is due for his contract. Otherwise the Falcons will just let him go.

Sometimes the best thing to do about a high-quality player with a bad mental side or legal troubles is to just release them. It makes a statement that you will not take any more nonsense, and it also gives the other teams a buyer-beware attitude. Look at the Cowboys with Owens and Giants with Burress. They seem to be moving in the directions they want to.

Dont forget that Philadelphia pretty much started that trend by releasing Owens a few years back. Before that, it was pretty much trade or retire. LOL

When was that? And who was that? I am pretty much talking about cutting Big Name Players. But yeah, it goes across the board.

It was in the late 1990s. The Panthers released Carruth, who was a big name player at the time, because he was a first rounder. Only played like two years. Anyways, it was sickening, because he murdered his ex-girlfriend in an executioner style.

Yeah, he murdered his girlfriend, who was eight months pregnant. They were able to save the child, but the child was born prematurely, and has some sort of disability. It's some really disturbing s**t.

And the sad part is that he gets out of prison pretty soon.

Hey, did you guys hear they're going to try and make a reality show following him when he gets out of prison. That's rediculous.

I don't know what's more screwed up. Vick for agreeing to do this, or the producers who are dumb enough to go along with this...

You know if this go's through with PETA is going to own him, because a person like Vick who is hated by all that is PETA, knows that where ever Vick is a camera will be following him, and PETA supporters being so protestic are going to be everywhere he is so they have the chance to be on television promoting their cause.. He's going to have red paint thrown on him, lol.
