Portal Prelude is a fan made prequel to Portal, and from what I've heard, it's actually really good. I haven't played it yet, but it looks good. This game takes place before GLaDOS kills everyone. Official Site

This is actually very challenging. I'm stuck at Test Chamber 5. x_x

Actually, I just think it's not as well designed as Portal. From a designers perspective, you should make it hard to figure out. Not hard to do.
This stuff is easy to figure out, but hard to do.
It's okay, but it gets a little frustrating after I try to do it for the twentieth time.

Well, I finished it finally.
I am ashamed to say that I had to use...noclip...on the final chamber. ;_; It was far too hard for me to beat and the walk through video for that chamber made it look so easy, but I couldn't understand how to do one thing.
Also, I'm not impressed by the voice acting. The creator used those robotic voice things you hear on Windows or something. But they had some british accents, which was nice. As I went through the game, the observer people who told me what to do sounded normal for the robotic thing because it was through a speaker. But when I finally reached an actual HUMAN, they continued to talk in robotic form. D: I went through the commentary throughout the game, and he said he would not hire voice actors. >_>
The FINAL level was somewhat of a surprise, but challenging as well. o_o

I'm pretty sure he could have found some voice actors to do it for free. He was probably just being lazy.

Well...I think they were in France at the time. It might be hard to find some English voice actors around there that would be willing to do it for free. And even if he would pay them, it would still be hard to find some English people around where he was.

Ah, I guess that's a fairly valid excuse, but you can still get people to record things at their house, and then send it over the internet. Flash artists do that all the time.

Maybe the guy was too stressed to even think about doing that. He did say that he was probably the only person not excited about the announcement of a Portal 2. Because obviously, he was already working on the prequel 5 months before Valve made the announcement. So he made it his goal to finish Prelude as fast as he could. o_O

I honestly don't see why he would be so worked up about it.
But whatever, that game is way to hard to be fun. D:

I found the ending to be sort of epic. But it was hard...
