Note: Time for our 2nd Round of voting. The top 3 from our first round have been added to the second so we can have a final vote! Vote now through May 1st. Winners will be announced on May 2nd.You all know what an avatar is. You all know what an avatar contest is.
But do you know what a party avatar contest looks like?
Well, you're looking at one right now. We want to see who can come up with the best party outfit!
A party avatar must be fun. It must be funky. Witty, different, possibly sexy, merry and bright. Just keep that in mind when creating.
The Rules
- Only one entry per person.
- If you don't want to actually change your avatar, then you can create one on tektek.org, but, you have to prove to us that you own the items you chose by displaying your inventory in your post. If you're not sure how to do this, please ask in this thread.
- Be nice to each other. Don't tell someone else that their entry looks stupid or anything like that - your entry is meant to look stupid! It's a party!
At the end of the party, we will set up the voting and all of the members can vote on their favorite. Whoever gets the most votes wins!
The Prizes
- One first place winner: 1,000 gaia gold
- One second place winner: 750 gaia gold
- Everyone else will get 100 gaia gold for trying
(In the event of a tie for first or second place, the crew members will pick a winner).

Since we've got 10 entries, we're going to go ahead and do our first round of voting.
New people will still be able to enter the contest while we're voting, but your entries will be listed in the second round. And we'll do this however many times we need to.
At the very end of the party we'll take the top two or three (it really depends on how many rounds we have) from each round and do a final round of voting to determine who gets the first place of the whole enchilada! Each separate round will get prizes too. smile
I hope that makes sense. If not, just post your questions here. I'll set up the poll for round one voting now.
Edit: The voting will stay open for 3 days! Good luck round 1 contestants!
