Kukki was collecting fruit a bit away from his and Aderyn's tree, their home. Home. What a wonderful effect one word can bring into the lives of two lovers. It had certainly helped to mend his relationship that he was beginning to question. Now, he couldn't be happier. He had to return with lots of fruit for his mate, and so he went back to gathering.

Aderyn was lounging high up in their tree home, she just had the oddest feeling. She was a little dizzy, but at the same time awfully giddy. She was just about to pass it off as a stomach ache when a huge smile crossed her face. "Oh my goodness! That took less time then anticipated!" With that, she spread her flaming wings and flew out of her tree. She didn't have to go far to come across Kukki. She landed a few feet from him and sat down, then patted her belly. "Hello Daddy~" She smiled, hoping he might get the hint.

Kukki turned his head as he heard the steady rhythm of wings above him. A small smile came across his face as he waved to Aderyn, he wasn't expecting her, and she didn't come out for just anything. Well, sometime she did, but something seemed important today. "Hi Mommy!" Kukki said back, the point of her greeting not registering at that moment, as they already had children once before.

"No silly! I'm pregnant! Again!" Aderyn smiled and her flaming tail wagged with excitement as she awaited Kukki's new reaction. She could remember how clueless he'd been the first time, but hopefully he'd get it quicker this time.

Kukki smiled and his fruit suddenly weren't important anymore. He dropped them and ran over to give Aderyn a hug, the forgotten feeling of her big belly warming him up. "What perfect timing, isn't it?"

Aderyn snugged Kuki close as he hugged her. She couldn't be more happy to be sharing this moment with him again. This time, she promised herself, she'd be there through it all. "Absolutely perfect..." She smiled.

Kukki laughed and gave Aderyn a kiss on the cheek before looking into her eyes. "Now let's get the mother-to-be home so she can eat and be lazy while the kids take their time coming!" He then let her go and re-gathered all of his fruit.

Aderyn smiled and nodded, helping Kukki regather the fruits. She headed back inside as the sun was going down. She was so happy, this time, things would be perfect.
