My brother has a subscription to the MAKE magazine, which you all may or many not have heard of. Anyways. The latest issue arrived today, and low and behold the main topic? Steampunk my dears! I look the liberty of coping the cover for all of you see. You can buy an issue at..a bookstore might have them, or a news-stand perhaps? -Issue 17 (in case the cover doesnt say? I forgot to check) Inside there are some lovely articles about various steamy-era inventors, a small list of books, and some very interesting projects to make for yourself. My favorite one is a small lady's hand-laser-gun that looks quite ornamental but can shoot a bit of fire out the front! The other thing was pleased to see was an add for the Gentleman's Emporium website. They ship to Canada now! oh Joy!

I shall definitely be hunting this down this week, if only to quell my curiosity about the "Rubber Band Electric Bass Guitar."

Make is actually a pretty cool periodical. They usually run pretty expensive at my local bookstore, though ($15) and I haven't the skills to make most of the included projects. However, when it arrives at my local library I may have to check out a copy.
They ran an ad/story a while ago about steampunk-looking rayguns, I think. But it's been awhile since I last read an issue, so I'm not exactly sure which one.

Unfortunatly I dont have the energy to scan every single page of the magazine. You'll have to hunt for it on your own! ^^;

That seems really interesting! I've never heard of this magazine, but I rarely read 'zines, anyway. XD However, I may just start reading this one (provided I can find it close by). I'm particularly interested in that siphon coffee contraption. (^_Q)

Hehe, that was the first thing I noticed, after "Steampunk Raygun" XD (I'd like one of those too)

I hate when files get corrupted. Coffee was pretty much the only thing keeping me alive during college; I had at least an entire pot (12 cups!) a day when I was home, and cappuccinos from the student cafeteria when I was not (that got expensive sweatdrop ). XD
