Daren sniffled to himself. He hadn't seen his love for so long and even though he was usually strong, the thought made him cry a little. He sat in the tree they usually hung out in, not knowing that Kong had sat on one of the branches above him.
Kongpang shifted in his tree and look down at the sounds of a soft sniffle. He noticed Daren had sat himself right below him and hadn't bother to say hi. A bit puzzled, Kong swung upside down in his branch and poked at the tip of Daren's ear, giving him a little tickle.
Daren froze, not knowing was above him. He looked up and gave a tiny shriek. "KONG!!!" He launched himself up and garbed onto him, forgetting he was an elder and that he had grown heavier. He then fell, with Kong on top. Wincing a little, he smiled at Kong ad clung tightly to him.
Kong blinked in surprise as Daren launched himself up. Obviously Daren had forgotten how big he'd gotten and they both tumbled out of the tree. Despite Kong's effort to keep them in the air, he still landed onto of Daren. He smiled kindly. "I'm not sure I'm so deserving of sure a welcoming!"
Daren nuzzled his cheek on Kongs happily "Of course you are ^_^. You are my love, aren't you?" He chuckled "What have you been up to lately that you cant say hi to your Daren?"
"Exactly why I don't deserve! I haven't been around alot." Kong sighed as she let his head rest on Daren over-fluffy chest. "I guess I've just been a little unmotivated to get out of my bed in the morning. And Jay and Jasper have run off again. I just feel slightly left out, that's all." He smiled sweetly toward Daren. "But that won't happen again!"
Daren kissed Kong's forehead. "Well, I guess next time I'll just have to come lay in bed with you." He chuckled a little mischievously. He then tilted his head "Who is Jay and Jasper?"
Kong smirked down at Daren. "I'd love to wake up to you every morning!" He chucked a bit, then sighed at his next question. "Friends, that have found themselves in a bit of trouble. Then pop in from time to time." He nodded, "but they're not really that important right now."
Daren nodded "I wouldn't mind that. Shall I ask to move in then >3?" He blinked then "How can friends not be important? .....Though, really all I have is you ^_^;;. I used to have a mate.... but her and I stopped talking long ago^^;;."
"Well, they always disappear and reappear. I'm assuming they're fine." Kong smirked dangerously. "I would absolutely love for you to move in." Then he shook his head in disbelief, "You had a mate?"
Daren nodded "Ahh, well, if its a natural accurance, then I guess there's really nothing to do about it." He then kissed Kong happily "You mean it? Really?! Oh I so hope I can move in!!!" He then smiled again and nodded "yeah, I even have kits :3" Saying it like it was no big deal. "Three actually. One lives in the house I stay at, but the other two live elsewhere."
Kongpang blinked, he couldn't think straight at the moment. He want to tell Daren he could move in ASAP, to tell him how much he'd enjoy their constant company, but he could get over his last sentence. Three kits....Daren had had a whole family before they'd even met. "You have kids...?" That was the only thing Kong could think of as he stared puzzledly at Daren.
Daren nodded, not really noticing Kong's surprise on his face. "Yeah, though I cant even really remember their names now.... All I remember is Malikai....that's how long ago it was." He looked at Kong and smiled "Maybe you'll meet him someday :3. I remember my daughters old name was Kaiko... but she changed it when she moved out."
"You never said you'd had kids before...." Kongpang looked away toward the base of the tree, trying to get Daren to understand that this was a touchy subject for him. He'd always wanted kids, but there was just something odd about knowing Daren had already been though that part in his life. The most stunning fact was he'd just found out about it.
Daren tilted his head a little "I'm sorry luve....they just... I've never seen a reason to tell you before. They aren't my life any more, you are ^^;;." He slipped his paw into Kong's hand. "Please forgive me. I did not see a reason to bring up the past before. .....I was just now thinking of how we might have kits of out own someday... and how I'd like them to know my previous children."
"Well....I can see how it might slip your mind..." Kong turn his head back to look into Daren's eyes. Those cute, adorable, sincere blue eyes meant the world to him. "And when we have kids, they'll have every right to meet their half-siblings. I'd love to meet them Daren. So long as they don't bite." He chuckled light and nuzzled into his chest again. "I love you."
