This is the main hub of the City, the road passes by on one side. There are three buildings that surround a fountain in the center. The town Hall, The Library, and a small Cafe. There is a cobble stone walk with a number of Cherry trees in grass spots scattered through out.

Masami was sitting under a cherry tree beside the cobblestone path, reading. The trees were starting to blossom. A sakura blossom fell from the tree and landed on her book. She picked it up and looked at it. She put it into her hair and continued to read. People walked past her as if she wasn't even there.

Amaya walked towards the fountain her sketch book in hand. When got to the fountain she sat down her back pressing against it as she opened it she looked around to see if there was anything or anyone worth drawing. Thats when she noticed the girl sitting there reading. Amaya took out her pencils and started to sketch the girl smiling softly.

((Amaya means "night rain," correct? I think I used that name for a character once.))
Masami looked up from her book and saw a girl looking at her and drawing something in a sketch book. She got the impression that the girl was drawing her. Masami cheeks went a little pinkish as she blushed slightly. She didn't want to mess up her drawing, so she looked back at her book.

Amaya smiled when she noticed the girl blushing. She continued to sketch the girl. After Amaya fished her sketch she signed the bottom left corner of it. She waned to go talk to the girl but she was afraid that the girl wouldn't like it.

yakov slowed down as he neared the fountain, all that running made him thirsty, he noticed a girl leaning right against the fountain. he would ask her to move but his lack of a japanese language made him forget about it, he leaned up against the fountain, positioning his legs so they didnt touch the girl, he did not even want to be noticed, his russian accient made him a centerpeice for conversation, he slowly leaned in to take a sip of water. he could see the top of the girls head below him, he tried not to let water splash over the side.

Amaya looked up and noticed the man drink the water from the fountain right over her. She couldn't help but smile as she looked at him. "Umm...hi.." she said softly. She normally didn't talk to new people but sense she was new here she figured she better say hi. Even as she was talking to him she couldn't help but smile over towards the girl reading by the tree.

yakov was suprised this girl was actualy taking notice, "um... hello" he said. he did not expect to get far in this conversation before he was singled out as a foreigner. "i hope im not getting water on you" his voice was very rough, like a russian winter he was told. his clothing was rugged and his face red from the 7 kilomiter run.

Amaya was shocked when she heard his voice. She had never heard an accent like that before. She liked the sound of his voice in her mind it sounded much cooler than what hers. She looked at his face and blushed softly. "Oh no your not at all" She said softly looking down, over to the girl reading, up at him and finally back down at the ground.

Masami saw that the girl had finished her drawing and was now talking to a guy. She briefly wondered who they were, but she could not bring herself to go introduce herself. It's probably not a good idea for me to walk over there. I wouldn't be able to talk if I did, she thought. She looked back down at her book and continued to read, hoping that no one would talk to her.

yakov looked down at what she was drawing. "that looks nice, i can tell its her" he said, looking at the other girl. he took another sip, his face was regaining its origonal colour back. "warm" he said to himself, japan is so much warmer than were he is from.

Amaya smiled blushing when he mentioned her sketch. She wasn't used to other people seeing her drawings. "T-thank you" she mumbled. She couldn't help but smile when he said it was warm here.
Amaya looked over at the girl and deiced that she would show her the sketch. "Hey do you wanna see it? It is of you after all it is of you." she said over to her. As uncomfortable as she felt with all these new people around Amaya realized that if she ever wanted to make a friend here she needed to open up a little.

yakov took another sip. "so" he started, "you go here for school?" he took another. "you live with your family ya?" he wiped his face.

Masami almost flinched when the girl talked to her, but somehow managed not to. Just my luck that I was talked to... Okay, come on, voice. Time to wake up, she thought. "S-S-Sure..." she stuttered. Her voice had come out little more than a whisper.

Amaya was still sitting down as she smiled up at the man. "Yeah i go to school here but i live on my own. Do you live with your family?" she asked him tilting her head slightly.
She turned back over towards the smiling softly, she was almost always smiling even when she was very sad. "Well then come over here. I hope you like it." she said looking down at the sketch. It was a decent sketch of the girl but she had drawn better before. Amaya hoped that the girl liked it and she would be sad if she didn't.
