Testing out leveling system.

1- Miss
2- Bide
3- Small Hit
4- Big Hit

Do'al is level one in this RP, so I only get to roll one set of dice. Whatever I roll is what I have to use.

WARNING: This is what happens when rogues trespass on Firekin lands uninvited - they get attacked.

The desert was a terribly dreadful place, and he wasn't entirely sure why Kip decided he needed to come out here. Then again, he often wasn't sure why Kip's visions ever told her he needed to do anything, at least not before he had been an experienced what it was he was supposed to set out and do. Today, he was wandering through hot, sticking sand with a blazing sun overhead and stretches and stretches of dunes out before him. He wished Kip was a little more clear sometimes.

He let out an irritated growl as he paused to look around him, teeth gritting as his the wind kicked up a bit of sand into his face, causing his mane to toss awkwardly around him. He didn't know anything about these lands, who belong here, and that made him nervous. Never walk into something blind. Still, he had to trust Kip's judgement, she had never steered him wrong yet. Even if this was just for a bit of fun now, it could prove to be something useful far into the future. Even Kip might not fully understand it herself yet.

Move: Small Hit

Technically, she didn't need to be out here. There was no need for Kenna to patrol the borders anymore; she wasn't queen. The Simo guards were competent enough to patrol the borders themselves, and thus there was no need for her to pad the lands of her birth-home. However, Kenna had come to realise that old habits really did die hard, and that though these lands were no longer 'hers' in the sense that they belonged to No and Kidondo... well, they were 'hers' in a different sense.

She was Firekin, and thus the lands would always be hers in a deeper level.

So thus, there she was, patrolling the lands with hooded eyes. Usually, she rarely found anything worth noting upon these trips, but something her daughter had told her that morning had made her want to take a peek herself. She had the feeling that her daughter, Kidondo, had at least, some sort of faint precognition, not unlike Zap had had.

And then, her eyes landed on the bright red lion in the distance and something in her told her that THIS was what she'd been looking for. There was something about that lion... something she couldn't quite place her paw on, but whatever it was, it made her grin. He was not Firekin, by any means (she made sure to still keep her eyes alert for new members and made it a habit of knowing every single member of the pride by looks, if not by name - old habits really did die hard), for she was as big as he was.

Still, size didn't always matter, and something told her today would actually be fun, for a change. That in mind, the lioness picked up her speed and charged directly towards Do'al, her teeth bared, her claws extended. The sand made it easy for her to approach him with little noise, and when she was near enough, she pounced in an attempt to pin him; though she did succeed, her mouth could not find his neck within the mass of his mane, and the way they rolled on the sand together, tangled, left her open to attacks. It didn't matter though, because somehow, she knew this what she'd been looking for.

Her claws graced his skin as they rolled over the sand, her maw still insistently trying to find his neck.

He was unaccustomed to these lands, of fighting battles on the deceiving sands, and he was fairly sure by this point that he was going to begin hallucinating at any moment because of the sheer unchanging nature of his surroundings. With the sand absorbing the sound of her paws against it, it was only by sheer luck that he turned in time to see her launching at him. The first thought as he felt her form connecting with his was that at least he wasn't hallucinating her out of some heat stroke.

He let out a quiet grunt as she knocked him down and his back connected with the sand, though he was smart enough not to let the shock set in and debilitate him. He let out a growl as she sent them rolling, careful to shift his weight when he got his sense about him. Kicking his back legs up, claws extended, he pushed up against the tender underside of her belly with all the force he could muster to throw her off and to the side to get him off. He had no doubt it inflicted some kind of damage, but his only thought was to get her off and find his footing.

His smirk fell into place as he pushed himself up to his feet, shaking the sand off and turning to face her once more. He narrowed his eyes, but did wait for her to stand at least, so they could be even. It was clear that was all he was going to wait for though.
