As I said before, this is a great little story. The internal monolouge reflective of that person who hasn't been taught that the neat little thing about themselves is inherently BAD AND EVIL.

heart In retrospect, the other thing she hasn't learned (yet?) is that her powers are just a tool. Cal thinks of his abilities as a tool - leverage to self-importance. Rowan thinks of hers as somehting she does so she can accomplish what she's told to do. Neither seem to find joy or pleasure in their abilities.
By contrast, Wyndi just enjoys making air move in different ways. It's fun.
It's a very different attitude even with accepting the powers as important.
