((A Private RP between myself and vollyballrocks91... Enjoy! ^.^))
Whistle tentatively stepped out of the glade she had chosen as her home, peering into the woods. It was awfully quiet, indicating the herd that gravitated around the Shaman Tashika -who had taken Whistle under her care- had gone off to their various haunts.
"Well, now is as good a time as any." The Fayth murmured to herself, drawing her head up proudly and looking like the powerful leader she once was.
A pity she did not remember such a time...
"Be brave, Whistle..." She murmured to herself with a slight frown as she trotted down the path, glancing this way and that. "Let's see what we can see..."

  Viscoso wandered along with his daughter by his side just as they used to when she was younger. Coming back from visiting his father he realized, what was the rush? He didn't have to be back by a certain time and he knew Lina wasn't fond of being out on her own. She preffered to be with him just like they used to which was perfectly fine with him.
Up ahead he spotted a dark purple...glowing mare? No just markings but they seem to glow from far away. "Look there, maybe you can make a new friend Lina." Lord knew she could use more than the one or two she had already.Adalina watched the mare and just sort of shrugged, not really up to meeting another new person. "She seems fine to me, I don't see why we should bother her." As long as she was with her dad or someone she knew she was relaxed and mostly normal but when someone new showed up she froze and reverted back to her shy state from when she was younger.

Whistle had wandered for a good amount of time before she heard the sounds of other Soquili nearing. They were behind her, she noted with a flicker of her ears, and talking amongst themselves.
'A good thing they aren't wolves...' She scolded herself as she slowed to a walk, wanting to make new friends, but afraid to turn around. 'What would you have done then? Nothing! They would have been on you before you realized they were there...'
She huffed softly at herself, a flicker of laughter rumbling through her mind. A distant memory? Cloudy and faint, but a smile... The gentle touch of a muzzle against her cheek...
'What am I going to do with you, My Love? I suppose I will simply have to be by your side every moment, so I can be sure you are safe...'
She stopped short, frowning as the memory faded away. What was that about? Drat this predicament! How was she supposed to find her mate if she couldn't remember him!?
Angry at herself and the fix she was in, she spun around to face the strangers, relieved when they looked nothing like the monsters she'd been warned walked the lands. These had horns, yes, but it was only one a piece.. And said horn spiraled from their brows in a most noble fashion. They were beautiful.

"Well looks like we've been spotted anyway. It would be rude just to walk away now." The reluctant look on his daughter's face just made him smile and nose at her cheek. "C'mon, my sweet, not everyone you meet is someone to be afraid of. I'll prove it to you." Viscoso turned and started to head down to the other mare but stopped when he realized Lina wasn't following. Turning his head he gave her one stern look as if to say, 'that's not how I raised you' and then kept walking.
Lina sighed and slowly started after her father. She knew she was overly shy sometimes but she just couldn't help it most of the time. He just insisted on meeting new people all the time. If it was just him and her then things would be perfectly fine. But noooo. Well...At least if this mare turned evil and attacked her dad was here with her.
Viscoso smiled to the mare once he got closer. "Afternoon, miss. Sorry for staring, us unicorns can be curious creatures at times. My name's Viscoso, or Vis for short. And this," he turned his head and waited for his daughter to come up beside him. Or at least as close as she would come. "Is my daughter, Adalina."

"Unicorns..." She echoed as she considered him. "Is that what they call your kind? You are most lovely."
Whistle smiled, blushing. "I apologize Viscoso... I am Whistle, do forgive me for staring... I am not from this land and have never seen your like before... I'm afraid I'm a little lost and looking for my true love... But..."
She ducked her head. "I... I cannot remember much of anything... So I have not been very successful..."
She glanced to Adalina and gave the mare a kind smile. "Greetings to you, Adalina, it is lovely to make your acquaintence..."

"Yes my whole family consists of unicorns. Well my mate and my sons have butterfly wings to go with their horns. You don't have to apologize, curiousity gets the best of us all sometimes." He watched her and listened. She seemed so confused and really did look lost in more ways than just sense of direction. He would be upset too if he ever lost Krysta. "Did you hit your head? Do you have any idea which general direction he might be in that I could point you?" He looked closely at her head to check for any bumps or bruises that could show that she'd hit her head, causing her to lose her memory. "I'd be glad to help you but I'm not sure how."
Lina just nodded to the mare as her dad did all the talking and asking all the questions. He was good at that.

Her gentle smile took on a bit of a sad twist at the corners as he mentioned family... Wasn't there something about her children? Oh surely she was the worst mother the Fayth had ever seen! She couldn't even remember them! Well, Aveshar, of course... But he had already accosted her in this land.. But the names and faces of her others were lost in the fog of her memories...
But there was something special about Unicorns... Why? She'd never seen one before, had she? Had she?
"Butterfly wings?" She blinked in surprise. "Oh, that must be most lovely to look upon. Would that I had such an opportunity to see such wondrous things, but perhaps now that I am in this land I shall... As far as the rest..."
She thought carefully, and then shook her head. "I do not recall hitting my head, but I was in a land I did not recogize when I woke, not knowing how I had gotten there from my home... And then I traveled far in search of him, for I do not know where he went, either... It is very little information to give those who might help, and I am sorry, but it is all I have."
She sighed. "I thank you for your kind offers... But perhaps you can answer me one question, and this will be a great help? Have you seen any others, a male, ideally... Who has markings much like these which paint me? That is the sign of our kind, my mate's, mine, our children... A marking from those who made us, who guide us..."
She turned and tossed her mane, displaying the wings on her back and the dancing symbols over her legs. "He... he would have these, that is my only way of explaining..."
