An odd silence surrounded the leopardess. She was now on her own with no parents to help her at all. Of course, Kalama felt she was perfectly alright as long as she didn't run into any lions or cheetahs. Her light blue eyes scanned the area quickly. She was alone. The silence was uncomforting, so Kalama decided to hum softly to herself. Her orange tail flicked behind her slowly as she walked.
Kalama couldn't stop thinking about her sister and the pain she went through. A male lion attacked her for no reason. She sighed and thought about the pride she was going to create. It would be a safe haven for all leopards, big or small. That was her big goal and dream in life.
