In AWL, the system is that the son requires the appearance and personality of the wife(The daughter in Oh!WL will look like the father, no matter who the mom is). What I have done, is taken the 5 women from the previous HM games (Elle, Popuri, Karen, Ann, and Mary, in the order seen above) and created sons for them using their system. I probably should have colored them, but I just drew it today and I was pretty proud of it...even if they all wear the same damn thing.
For appearance, the son obtains the mother's eyecolor (and style, as they all have different eyes), and hair color. Though through chapters in AWL the son's eyecolor keeps changing. Also, all sons wear the same thing, with various styles to it (thus why I altered them all).
The key differences between them though, are the personality and interests. Since I'm bored, I'm gonna list all the information about each non-existant child, including interests and strengths in the 6 career paths in AWL. Of course, it'd be impossible for the paths to be in BTN/wtfever, since the people in town don't have some of those jobs. Here's a chart first, though:
1 = Very Low, 2 = Low, 3 = Moderate, 4 = High, 5 = Very High (that's what the numbers on that page were for).
Child 1
Son of - Elle
Personality Basics - Gentle, sweet, but can occasionally get very angry. Often concerned with others around him
Main Appearance Difference (clothes)
Probably a light blue theme. The markings would probably be white.

Conclusion
Elle's son would probably be more on the farming side, purely because there's no doctor career path. razz That, and Elle seems to like plants a lot.
Child 2
Son of - Popuri
Personality Basics - Sweet, perky, and immature throughout life. This would be fine in infantile stage, though.
Main Appearance Difference
He has little puffy...things, on his shirt. He'd probably have a red color scheme.

Conclusion
I'd assume Popuri's son would love animals a lot, since she seems to. He probably wouldn't be into scholarly things, though.
Child 3
Son of - Karen
Personality Basics - Calm, cool, and collected. He'd probably be a bit anti-social, but pretty good at conversations if he tried to start one.
Main Appearance Difference
Checkers. One of them needed checkers, so I figured Karen's would be best. Black and white scheme, most likely.

Conclusion
Since I didn't see Karen do a lot, I imagined her son wouldn't have a lot of strength in most areas. She is a good singer though, so I imagine he would be too. He'd probably enjoy being outside a lot too, like his mom.
Child 4
Son of - Ann
Personality Basics - The real boy-boy. The steryotypical guy. He runs, he plays, he's very active. He probably wouldn't stay at home often.
Main Appearance Difference
No bonus things, but I think he'd have an orange theme, for some reason. That or yellow.

Conclusion
Best suited for athletics. I have no idea why, but I always though Ann's son would be better fitted for an outdoors man. Plus Ann has a cat, so I figured he'd have a natural interest in animals.
Child 5
Son of - Mary
Personality Basics - Timid, shy, probably will try to avoid people as much as possible. He'd probably like to be alone a lot, pondering to himself.
Main Appearance Difference
He has a little ribbon thing on the collar of his shirt. Otherwise, nothing. White themed, most likely. Or perhaps green, but I'm not sure.

Conclusion
I think Mary's son would be the smartest. Like her, he'd have a natural interest in reading, but however will not aquire her interest in plantlife. Still, I feel he would be good with them.
Please note I produced all of this back in February, thus it is out of date. I'm sure all of you have other opinions on this issue, and I want to hear them. 3nodding If you took the time to read all this, I thank you very much. sweatdrop Please, tell me what you think. I may even update this with 'kid' versions if anyone would like to see that.
