Harper stretched out in the soft spring grass, her legs lolling out behind her. She rubbed her slender golden horn against a clump of dirt, then continued to rub her face on the ground. Her lion's tail flicked idly.
To put it bluntly, the filly was bored and it was rather annoying.
She hadn't heard from her Voice in a long while, and while it didn't bother her as much as it would another foal, it bothered her a little.
"Ah..." She leapt to her feet, ears pricking forwards. Something in the bushes beside the teepee rattled. Harper's head swung to see Aleksei, the angeni protector, who was looking curiously her way, but not too curious. No, that mare was too collected for that. She flicked her tail again, then pranced out of sight.
Boredome sucked.

"Sun shinning bright, bright with all its glory. Moon gazing down, gazing down for all to see." came a sing song voice as a young colt plotted along, his long white and purple speckled tail swished behind him. The same purple speckles dashed themselves over his alabaster back.
Bright lavender eyes were closed as his head swung from side to side, there was almost a light skip within those purple hooves. The feather attached to his tail looked like it had seen better days, a short purple and white horn sparkled merrily upon his head, white mane swaying as he went. It seemed that this energetic little colt had a lot of pep that never ran out. Ears flicking themselves backwards he wandered even further away from his home range, though knew where his father said to meet them when he was don exploring.
"Sun shinning bright, bright with all its glory. Stars twinkling Merrily, merrily that everyone's smiling." He sang again, not quite a song that someone would remember, but he loved making up songs and tales to make everyone laugh and happy. Not knowing that when he was older something else would appear and make his life difficult.
Not quite looking where he was going, the white and purple speckled colt passed close to where a filly was coming from. By now his eyes were open and he was actually watching where he was going. Though that wouldn't really matter much as he didn't really realize that he would perhaps bump into someone along his way. Head still swaying, tail still swishing behind him, it seemed that nothing could stop or slow this colt down from where ever it was that he was going.

Harper's ears swiveled forwards as another foal pranced through the forest. She watched him from between trees, her lips rising in a smile. He had a horn... And a tail! A proper tail! Her heart gave a little flutter of excitement, not bothered by the fact that he was singing.
He didn't have a bad voice, afterall. Or else she would've been bothered, perhaps.
She trotted forwards, her own tail coiling around her slender legs. Slipping between the trees, she headed towards him, her own head held high and mighty and her spirits soaring. Another Unicorn! She hadn't seen another Uni around this place except for that odd arrowed boy who couldn't seem to stop laughing at her.
"Hey! Hey you!" she called out, sliding to a stop and hoping he'd hear her.

Indeed he had a 'proper' tail for his kind, even if his father had a tail of hair and his mother the same as his own. Ears twitching backwards he was lost within his own song. Letting it full him and the air about him. He was about to start again, from the beginning as he had lost track of where he was going with his little solo of a song. He let his head sway as he didn't hear the hooves that followed him, the eyes that watched him, or even hear the breathing and heart beat of the one who followed him... Until now.
"Ra..." He began until a voice shattered his thoughts and his steps came to a skidding halt nearly landing him on his face.
Had he really been going that fast, he hadn't noticed until the calm was shattered and he turned to look toward the one that had called out to him. It was a young filly, she was about his own age, and she had a horn and tail just like his own. Tilting his head to one side, bright purple eyes blinking a couple times looking the dark colored filly over. Yes she was dark where he was light colored, but hey. Who said that was a problem.
"Hi." He called back, turning to face her, his head still tilting to one side some. "Did you want something?"
