1 year ago... my cousin was at school talking to her friend and some kid walks up to her, and just because we're asian, he sqeezed his eyes and started shouting "CHING-CHONG-CHING-CHONG" Gawd! It's so freaking annoying when people think that all asians are just stereo-types!
Just because we're asian, it doesn't mean that we're all chinky-eyed freaks! scream

I like "chinky eyes." I don't think it makes anyone a freak.
In Middle school I was teased and harrassed because I was Asian. There were less than 5 in my Middle school AND high school. Everywhere I went I was asked "do you eat cats?" Or someone had to say "MEOW...." In Highschool while I was a senior walking into the building, a smartass had to open the door and start yelling that.."CHINGCHINGCHONGCHONG" bullcrap. While I did go and give him a good tongue lashing, it's not worth the time or breath for those kinds of people. After you're out of gradeschool you won't encounter those people as often.

I never went through that until I hit high school. Isn't that funny? I thought people were supposed to MATURE as they grow up, yes? Obviously not the case for the idiots at my school.
Just the other day during P.E., we were playing soccer, and once I got the ball, an idiot said: "Kick the ball, chingchangchong!" And just... every time they walk by me or something, the same pair of idiots(the first idiot and his friend) will always say something I am assuming to be attempted gibberish of an Asian language.
And last year during History class, those two same guys would say some s**t like: "Go back to your own country!" and crap like that. And is it just me, or is that just <******** hilarious? Racists in the US. IN THE US. Someone living in the US does NOT say "Go back to your own country!" Really. Because, like, then you ******** go back to Ireland or Britain or wherever you came from. Wtf.
Jesus what the hell.

So sad when random people are racist towards you. Honestly serious racism is very rare for me cause the places I lived in have a bunch of Koreans, so dissing one guy = more guys jumping you. PEOPLE ARE ONLY RACIST WHEN THEY KNOW THEY'RE SAFE. I mean I experience racism but I'm cool with the guys saying stupid comments. We just exchange funny comments. Is that bad of me?

I mean I experience racism but I'm cool with the guys saying stupid comments. We just exchange funny comments. Is that bad of me? I don't think its bad at all. When its joking, its joking -- I do that too. I mean, when my friends and I are talking about something and suddenly they ask something about me that I can't find a good answer for, I just go "Uh... 'cause I'm Asian?" And we all just laugh. Or other scenarios would be:
Friend: *Does something successfully after ten billion tries* Me: *Does something successfully on first try* Friend: DDD: You and your stupid Asian-ess.
But like, no one's hurting. c: Its just fun and laughs. I guess it just depends on who's saying it, to what level they're taking it, how serious they are, and how much malice they mean in it.

Well, I don't really mind comments or jokes. 3nodding When I was in 5th grade, a cute kindergarten came up to me and asked if I was Chinese. biggrin I thought it was really cute and I didn't mind, even though I'm Filipino. ^_^ But, sometimes it gets annoying. -_______- I make really good grades in math (YAY!). xd When I got my test back and I saw that I got an A, my classmate went like, "That's because your Asian." And I was like, "Oh....-______-". I didn't really mind, but not all Asians are smart...right? smile

The reason they're looked upon as smart is because they have a strong sense of accomplishment. Most don't want to grow up being nothing. Asian stereotypes are given greater credit; being smart, unlike latin stereotypes, whom are viewed as not only dumb, but low class workaholics who will do anything to feed their ten kids for little money.

not only do they stereotype us for grades and such but also pen-spinning too neutral i'm just sitting there working on floor plans (because i'm in an architecture class in my school) and some random classmates come up to me and say "do some asian stuff to that pencil!"
