He was pretty much screwed. Rhea had made it painfully clear that she was not interested in him by having ANOTHER four kids with the two men she loved, and Rave...he had hoped that by having kids with her he could move on, learn to love her. But turned out she'd fallen for another chick. He only gave thanks she took the kids with her.
Heaving a sigh as he walked out of his apartment, he reflected on his life so far; He had kids he didn't see, Two women had shot him down and he was called a loser by another of his 'family'. But it was the truth...he was a loser.
"Dieses ist nicht wie mein Leben sollte sein…" He sighed, not caring to try and speak in English. "Ich sollte haben sie ein nettes Mädchen...Nicht ein schlechtes Leben…" He continued to mumble as he reached the soda machine, inserting a few coins and punching a button. After waiting a few moment, he pressed the button again...then the coin return. Nothing happened. His money had been eaten.
"...Scheiße."

Elaine walked down the street, a little to concious of the act, as she watched her feet a bit to intently, she turned a corner and walked down a street completely unaware of her surroundings. She tripped on a can and looked up as she placed a hand on a wall to steady herself, "Great.." she mumbled, "Im lost..again," She shuffled down the street looking for someone to help her when she saw another cat putting in change for a drink.

"Scheiße! Warum heute!?" he yelled, delivering a swift kick to the machine angrily. His ranting would have continued had he not looked elsewhere and spotted a chick. Immediately he calmed his temper down and straightened up, tail flicking to and fro.
"Guter Tag, Fräulein." he said before realizing his mistake. Being alone for so long, he had almost forgotten it was rare for anyone else to speak German. "I-i mean, Good day, Miss."

Elaine gasped a bit, looking up she stood, a bit taken aback,"Oh, excuse me, hello," she waved slightly, "Uhm, do you..need some help?" She pointed at the machine, feeling a bit awkward.
"You..you speak German?"

"Oh..." He looked back at the machine, feeling quite silly at the moment for having lost his temper. "Ah...This stupid machine took my money and i guess it's just the peak of a bad day...so i lost my temper." He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head. "Sorry you had to see that, Fräulein."
He would have snapped at her for asking him if he spoke German since she obviously heard, but he was determined to keep his temper in check for the rest of the day. "Well...yeah. I'm originally from Germany actually." he smiled awkwardly before glaring at the machine.

Elaine looked at the machine then back at the guy, "Oh, Im sorry about that," She felt odd talking to a complete stranger, but the poor guy had had a bad morning, "Your from Germany? Thats..cool, I don't know much..just Guter Tag" She laughed a little, feeling uneasy. She scuffed her feet around on the ground, "Why did you..move?"

Sorry? What was there for her to be sorry about? Again he bit back a remark. "Nothin' for you to be sorry about. I shouldn't...take out my anger on machines anyways." He had to laugh a little at her remark about knowing only a little bit. "Well, that's enough to start up a conversation at least."
Ignoring her last question he held out his hand to her, smiling warmly. "I'm Sadiki. Nice to meet you."

"Oh," Elaine smiled and took his hand, shaking it she said "Im Elaine, nice to meet you Sadiki," She didn't know what else to say..he was still some what of a stranger to her, but he seemed nice enough..'maybe he could be a friend' she thought to herself as she looked at him, 'hm..maybe'

"Elaine. That's a pretty name." He chuckled lightly before walking to the next soda machine, fishing in his pockets for some more change. He was damn thirsty.
"As for why i moved...Well, i actually came here with my cousin when i was fairly young...My parents were okay with it i guess though i haven't spoken to them since." he smiled as he inserted the coins into the new machine. "Course, few years living here my cousin got shot so i had to find somewhere else to stay. Turned out to be here." he continued, happy to hear the clank of the soda can hitting the despenser.

Elaine gasped, "Sh-shot?" she hesitated, "Im..sorry, I didn't mean to..um...I didn't know.." She swayed from side to side uncomfortably, she started chewing on her lip. 'oh..great..sorry' she said to herself, she didn't want to make anything worse, he probably didn't want to talk about anything to her anyway.

Shrugging, Sadiki dug into his pocket for a bit more change. "It's no big, Elaine. I wouldn't have said anything if it bothered me. It's been years since it happened and he's in a better place now." he chuckled as he inserted the coins into the machine. "What kind of soda do you like?"

"Grape? Okay." He chuckled before pressing the button for the grape soda. "And no worries. I feel generous and have some change to spare." Tossing the soda can at her, he opened his own and leaned against the machine, taking a few sips. "So what brings you out this way? Visiting somone?" he asked non-chalantly. A nice conversation was just what he needed.

She tried to grab the can but it hit her and she fumbled to grasp it awkwardly before it hit the ground. "O-oh, um," she stood up looking around, "Um well...I don't think I've been this way before..I'm visiting my.." She looked at the can, 'Should I say that? what if it gives him painful memories?' she swayed a bit and looked up at the buildings, "a friend of mine," she said, giving a small smile. "Oh," she felt her sides, "I'm afraid I don't have anything to give you for the soda, but thank you" she looked at him with a bigger smile on her face.

He listened to her as she spoke, gulping down the soda and dribbling a bit out of the corner of his mouth. When she finished, he was finished and he promptly crushed the can, throwing it into the recycling bin.
"Like i said, Elaine. Don't worry 'bout it. If i'd wanted you to pay me back i would have made sure you had money before i got it. You're welcome.." Cracking his neck a bit, he looked towards the building he lived in, then pointed to it. "Your friend live in this one?"
