 Has anyone else seen the previews? I just saw it today and I was like, "WTF mate?"
Why is Goku white, but Gohan is Asian. And every other main character is Asian. How does that make sense!? If Grandpa is Asian...shouldn't he at least look a little Asian too?

I totally refuse to watch the movie, or even any trailers for it. I've adored that series since I was about 10 or 11, and I'm not about to ruin that impression now.
Besides, there are some things that should just stick to anime, and Dragonball is one of them.

I just couldn't get into DBZ. It took, like, an entire season to do one fight. And the dub was REAAAAALLY bad.
I did really like Dragonball when I was a kid. Goku was a kid and still had a tail! I liked it. Although now that I think about it...Goku seems to be the only one who aged! lol

OMG!!!...
i likes a lot the serie (here was aired... ..... ....... well, a lot of times >w<'), but the movie...
since Gokuh will goes to school (!!!), i still thinking about see the movie or not o_O... if only have SFX as Matrix 3 (Matrix 2 puagh!!!) maybe and only maybe ¬¬...

I didn't watch much of the anime Dragonball, but seeing the previews I don't think I'll watch it... It just seems strange and Americanized or something... gonk I dunno...

I watched the series everyday that it was on. I loved it to death and still do Cell Saga all the way. 3nodding ..the movie on the other hand, well, i wasnt all that impressed by it. They completely ruined Piccolo rolleyes hollywood shouldnt try to re-make anime into movies..it hardly ever works out well. I will say that i liked who they picked for Bulma; i thought she was a really good choice. I didnt see Gohan though confused plus, why would Gohan be in the movie? Its dragon ball, Gohan wasnt in the Dragon ball series. So far, just by seeing what they did with Piccolo, i'm afraid the movie will suck. But, i could be way wrong. *shrugs* I hope they do good with it. Nothing compares to the anime though. 3nodding

If it doesn't bomb, I will be suprised. I mean I don't know much about the series, but I am not that dumb. I know it's nothing like what it should be. I give it two weeks before it fails and two months before they have to put it on DVD to try and make ends meet. And Spike, why did you fail me? Being a evil vampire who turned good then being all nice and sexy on Torchwood is one thing, but you being Piccolo...no and don't get me started on the new Cowboy Bebop movie. Anyways, I am done. smile
