Pepper sat at the edge of a lake. He put a paw in a splashed it around a bit. He remembered a time when he was a hero and he had a princess. Pepper sighed, he wondered where his princess went, did she ever think about him?
Pepper laid back and watched the clouds roll by. He tried not to think about her, but it was hard. He closed his eyes and saw her face and growled to himself, "Get over it!"

Patty stretched her legs as she walked towards the lake. She hadn't been there in awhile, but it was a great time to go. It was beginning to warm up, and the sun shine that warmed the air felt great.
As she neared the lake she noticed a familiar face. She paused as it all came back to her. All the fun she had had with Pepper. A smile lit her face and she quickened her pace.
"Pepper, my prince!" She said to him, giving him a nice smile. She hoped he'd still be okay with her calling him that, since it had been quite awhile since they'd last seen each other.

"Oh great, now I hear her voice!" He frowned, now he was hearing her as well as seeing her. He shook his head to clear his thoughts and sat up only to actually see her running up to him.
"Patty?" He rubbed his eyes with his paw, "Is that really you?" He thought it was just a mirage brought on by his sad sate of being, but when she didn't disappear he knew the sight was real. "Princess!" Finally a smile was brought back to his lips, he hadn't found his smile in such a long time.

She smiled and gave him a hug. "Of course it's me. Do you have another princess?" She chuckled playfully and then asked, "How have you been, Pepper?"

"No, of course not. You are my only princess." He smiled very widely as he couldn't seem to stop. "Good, good. How about you?" Of course he wasn't going to tell her how he had been lost without her..that wouldn't be cool at all.

She smiled and swished her tail a bit. "I've been alright. A little lonely to be honest." She blushed a little as she thought of their last meeting. She really hadn't gotten out much since then. She had had a few encounters with some other namrah, but nothing worthwhile. She stopped swishing her tail and grinned at Pepper. "It's really good to see you again!" ^^

"Really? I mean, that's not good." He shouldn't be happy that she was lonely, but he was happy she hadn't found a mate. "I've been rather lonely too. I'm so happy you came here." He smiled and blushed as he didn't know how else to say how he felt.

She laughed a little and sat down next to him by the lake. "I'm glad too. Now neither of us has to be lonely." She wondered if he had missed her like she had missed him.

He turned to her. "Remember what happened here the last time we were here?" Not only had he saved her, but the kiss. That was something he really couldn't forget. Did she forget?

She blushed and smiled. "I remember!" She looked thoughtful for a moment. "We said we'd have to do it again sometime." She laughed a little bit. "Well a repeat of that day would not be a bad thing." She was sure of that.

"Except for the almost drowning part, I don't think we need to repeat that part." Pepper laughed and scooted a little closer to her. "Would you like to do something?"

"No, except for that part." She laughed and then blinked as he scooted closer. She inclined her face towards his and breathed out a little. "S...something to do...?" She blushed and batted her eye lashes a bit. "Did you have anything in mind?"

He smiled and shook his head. "Not really. We can just sit her and talk, swim, or anything else you would like." He was just happy to be near her so he didn't mind what they did.

She kept leaning closer to him until her head was resting upon his shoulder. It was a natural reaction, despite having been away from him for a long time. She liked being close to him, and she doubted he had much objection. The two just seemed to be drawn together.
"Sitting here and talking is fine. I'm comfy," she said, a definite happy note to her voice.

Pepper smiled, he did so love the feel of her close to him. He blushed slightly as she cuddled up to him. "I see you are." He chuckled and smiled. "I would say I'm rather comfy myself." He looked down at her, "What should we talk about?"
