surprised Mama's out, so who's in charge?This is an RP thread, so please don't post unless you've made plans with me to RP here. The house of Silver Angel and her growing little family of Tahnees. The House [The Old House]Silver Angel previously lived in a two-story house with four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a piano room, and a basement. The girls had one bedroom to themselves, and so did the boys. Silver Angel occupied the master bedroom, where she was sometimes joined by a few of the younger children during thunderstorms. The remaining room housed a few of Silver Angel's smaller pets, and the rest, save for the largest ones, resided in the basement. [The Gaia House]She owns another single-room house which she uses as a private study and also as a vacation house (see Gaia Home). It's cozy, to say the least. During most of the year, the main room is used to house her larger pets. When Silver Angel needs some peace and quiet just to relax and draw or write, she relocates her companions to the outside yard. When Silver Angel has time and gold, she buys new furniture and redecorates the study as a vacation house for the children. [The New Mansion]Due to fortune, possibly brought on by the leprechaun children, and a considerable amount of her own savings, Silver Angel recently acquired a reasonably large three-story mansion. The first story comprises the entrance hallway, which leads into a fairly large ballroom with stairs on either side. Behind the ballroom stairs are the side doors on either side of the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven and a spare woodburning oven in one wall for special baking needs. The second story consists of two library rooms containing tall shelves full of books and large reading areas furnished with low tables and comfortable chairs, with a room to each library to serve as a study area. The library story is equipped with a washroom, containing a toilet and a sink, on either end and has a single wide staircase in the center leading up to the third floor. The third floor is U-shaped to accommodate the staircase. All the bedrooms, including the master suite, are in the two main wings of the third floor. The west wing holds the boys' suites and the east wing holds the girls' suites. One suite on each side is set up nursery-style and shared by most of the younger children. The other suites are individual suites for the older children. The entire rear of the third floor is Silver Angel's master bedroom suite. The third floor is surrounded on all sides by separate railed terraces for each bedroom suite. Each of the nursery suites contains a room with a row of beds against one wall accompanied by their respective end tables each holding a single lamp. On the opposite side of each room is a row of small dressers for the children's clothing and various grooming accessories. Against the wall opposite the doors of these rooms is a wardrobe to hold each child's various other clothing. Each of the individual suites contains a twin-sized fourposter bed, a bedside dresser with a lamp, an armoire, a dresser, a study desk with a chair and desk lamp, and two comfortable chairs at a small conversation table. The center of the third floor, directly behind the staircase, is composed of the community bathrooms with a hallway to divide the two and allow access from one wing to the other. There are four shower stalls to one wall, a row of sinks against the opposite mirrored wall, a row of toilet stalls against the third wall, and a large square bathtub equipped with bubble jets in the center. The master suite contains the same furniture as the individual suites, but in grander proportions. The much larger conversation table with its six smaller encircling chairs sit in their own area facing the terrace, separate from the main bedroom. The twin-sized fourposter is replaced by a queen-sized fourposter bed, Besides the armoire and dresser is a walk-in closet. A large, decorative rug lies in the middle of the floor between the bed and the conversation area. The master suite contains its own master bathroom, complete with hot tub. The highest place in the mansion is the expansive attic. The attic is clean-kept and houses most of the younger children's toys and some of Silver Angel's more reclusive pets.

Mama Silver AngelAge: Three in Gaian years; usually looks about 22 in human years. Appearance: Silver's distinguishing feature is her long black hair, which reaches down nearly to the backs of her knees. Her eyes are a soft grayish silver, and her skin is a light/medium tan. Her ears are long and pointed like an elf's, but you'd be hard-pressed to get her to admit they might not be real. On occasion, Silver Angel will change her ears to normal humanoid ears. Likes: Shiny things, sparkly things (both in one if possible), being of help, cute things, fuzzy things, Tahnees, children, happy accidents, music, art, laughter, surprises Dislikes: Unhappy accidents, pain, angry words, bitter words, spiders, the unknown, being afraid Bio: Neither silver nor actually an angel, but quite fond of both, Silver Angel is actually a Gaian changeling, blessed by Gaia with the ability to take on any one of various humanoid forms commonly known to Gaians, including, but not limited to, kitsune (fox), tanuki (raccoon), neko (cat), and tenshi (angel). Silver Angel came to the orphanage shortly after meeting the Tahnee children of a dear friend, and during the Tahnee Orphanage Anniversary Celebration, she officially fell in love with the Tahnees and opened her home to them. Since he came to Gaia, he doesn't remember much of his previous life, but he seemed to have been brought up in a fairly happy family. Daniel is very quiet and shy at first, but given enough encouragement, can be friendly and lively enough. He is a bit self-conscious, so he can say and do some things which may seem a little odd at times. He hates to make people unhappy, so he always tries to be a gentleman. Vladimir was his first friend, whom he met at the Tahnee Orphanage Anniversary celebration, and in the course of getting to know him better, he met and became friends with Vladimir's sister, Sophia. Don't tell him, because he doesn't know it himself yet, but that day, he was hoping to be a bit more than friends with the pretty cat. Aww~ The same day, he met and befriended Blade and Kit, who rescued his fainted sister Tania after she had tried to help two Tahnee children trapped under the roots of a huge tree. She was adopted during the Tahnee Orphanage Anniversary celebration soon after her mouse-boy brother Daniel. She seems to have a fair knowledge of her past, but she chooses not to speak of it. It seems she knew some pain before crossing to Gaia. Myrie is quiet and reserved at first meeting, and first impressions mean a lot to her, so if she doesn't get a good one from a person, she tends to avoid that person later on. On the other hand, if she gets a good impression from a person, she tends get attached rather quickly and seek a strong friendship. Myrelis has recently shown a strong affinity for Tahoi's son Blade... but what does it really mean?  Age: 11 (since adoption)

He's quite like his adoptive mother in ways, only not quite so bubbly. Very much a gentleman, with a rather demure manner and a willingness to help, Remington will go out of his way to make sure you're not uncomfortable, but he does know his limits and he does have his own set boundaries. When the need arises, he helps teach his brothers things that their mother just can't teach a boy. Because of the seemingly narrow difference between his mother's maturity and his own, things do get awkward at times, but as his personality goes, Remington does his best to ease the tension, holding to his place as another charge in the house. Remington knows several Tahnee children simply by association, from his mother's frequent chattering about her friends and their darling children. He apparently has been included in a threesome of dog-eteers or something consisting of Luciel, Diego, and himself.

She is fully capable of making sounds, but she refuses to speak a word to anyone, even those who get close to her. She is fearful of everything strange and new, but grows attached to sincere displays of affection. Being a fairy, Amaya is very in tune with the harmony of the world and human emotions, and is sometimes able to magically cure minor injuries or summon healing flowers. She sticks close to Remington, who came to the orphanage to pick her up and bring her home, and is slowly learning to open up to her other brothers and sisters.

Due to post-arrival trauma, sometimes she has identity crises and thinks she's more dog than Tahnee, though these lapses never last long. For some strange reason, Karen can never really remember what happens during her dog dominance phases. She is shy around strangers and embarrasses easily, but can warm up to someone rather quickly depending on how much contact she has with that person. Karen is very close to her twin brother, but quite independent from him, following her own interests and agenda. Even though she is the younger twin, she is an inch taller than her brother, perhaps due to the fact that premature children grow very quickly. A plushie received at Aaron and Karen's adoption.

Keiji's name was taken from Babynames.com and apparently means "Lead Cautiously." ninja Although you can't really tell because of his clothing, Keiji is actually younger than he might look. Friends: I mentioned that I'd missed the Halloween '06 Minis, and Skada decided to make one for me! 4laugh So after some deliberation, I finally decided on this lovely girl. Her colors are taken from a kimono I once wore for a photo shoot. heart The actual kimono was a bright pink with a powder blue pattern and pictures of ladies grooming their long hair. Against a red background, however, the kimono looked quite red. The obi was four shades of gold. The ornament I wore in my hair was a spray of powder blue leaves to match the blue pattern in the kimono. She is named after a former country hot springs geisha named Sayo Masuda, who was called "Little Crane" in her childhood. I hope the name will be lucky for this gothic geisha, so she will see much success and be spared the pain. What an absolutely adorable Mini couple. heart
