Aadi had just about had it with life itself. Literately. Except for his mother in which he was growing up to souly protect her and love her entirely. But.. he moved away from his best friend. A wilddog that he had a deep connection with. They shared everything and they'd always sleep under the starry night. But now.. what was to become of him? He had no one else to play with- protect other than his mother. He loved her- but every waking moment.. He wanted some change at least. Someone his age. He laid across a rock with trees outstretching. Looking out to almost the canyon like area. He of course was in the foresty part.. but he could see the rocky plains in the distance. This is where they had moved to. The edge of the jungle.. "Heh. Wonder what she is doing... right now." Looking up at the sky.. it was noon now.. and the winds were blowing east- making his fur rise.. His mother was about either sleeping or hunting at the moment.. and he took this time to absorb the new scenery. Lifting his forearms and laid up. His thick tail flicking about. "Heh.. " He saw something of a white shriek in the distance and tilted his head. Wondering what her cerulean blue eyes had caught now. He stuck out like a soar thumb with the dark pelt that his father gave him- oh. The other part of that.. he never knew his father.. and the fact of others saying father- he doesn't understand what it is nor the understanding of it... It never past a thought in his mind.. His ears flicking... "Hmm.." He moved his head forward and lightly sniffed.

Fususi huffed indignantly as she walked away from where her mother was watching over her brother and sisters. She HATED being the youngest and she hated that she had two older sisters. It would be sooooo much better if she just had older brothers. But nooooooo, she had one that was always strutting her stuff and another that was kinda bubble-headed and oh so willing to help out everyone else. Her brother was nice, but she really would rather have, like... someone to watch out for her rather than someone to just be around and cheer her up.
So anyways, there she was, a little cheetah, wandering farther and farther from her family, mostly just looking for some time to herself. She sighed and heard something strange behind her. She frowned, stopping in her walking and looked over her shoulder. There, in the grass, was a dark... thing, like a vine, only coiled up with narrow yellow eyes that stared at her. Her eyes widened in fright and the thing reared back, opening its mouth as it hissed at her angrily, pointy teeth in its mouth.
Fu screamed and took off away from the scary creature, towards the trees.

Then he saw the white form scream and his fur went up on all ends. Not scared but anxious. Something... he didn't know. But all he knew is that he was running across the way~ Not even much looking back. He quickly jumped at the snake and flung it away. Turning as soon as she ran off. He looked to find her- but she was gone by the time her turned around. She was a cheetah after all.
Aadi looked frantic- worried if the girl had gotten wounded in the fight with the snake.. So he darted after her- but unknowing of her direction that she took. He kept pushing himself forward and more forward- the thick bushes and grass of the forest floor. He ran out of the bush head first in to something thick a furry. Causing him to fall back and on his back. "AH!~" Slamming his head on the ground and grumbled. "Ow..."

Fu had run and run and run until she couldn't run anymore and slowed to a stop, sitting down and shivering, still shaken from the encounter with... whatever that THING was. She was so naive to the world around her and boy did she know it. She was still peeved over the meeting with that lion cub. It wasn't HER fault that she'd never seen one before. She HATED it that he had given her that surprised look when he confirmed her suspicion that he was a lion. So it was no surprise that she was partly angry over not knowing what that live-vine had been, but mostly she was still recovering from her fright.
And then something slammed into her back and sent her face first into the grass and dirt. Her scream was muffled as she scrambled away from the thing that was behind her, grumbling over something. She turned, her eyes wide and it took her a moment to focus on the dark cat a bit smaller than her. Her eyes weren't bad, but she had a bit of a problem focusing on something when it was dark, and in the trees it was a lot darker than what she was used to. "Who are you??" she screeched at him, her body low in a slight cower. Today just wasn't her day.

Slowly he shook his head and got up.. Sitting and letting out another groan. Slowly opening one eye- then the next as he saw a rather interesting other.. "Wow..." She had.. pretty colors.. Against white fur. Like his best friend! "heh.. Im Aadi.." Shaking off the hurt on his head.. huffing a bit- looking up if it made a bump..
His far fur could hide most of the features of his face. "Who are you?" His voice was pretty much childish- but kind. "Im sorry I ran in ta yea.. I just tried to find yea~ yea. Are you okay? Did that snake hurt cha?" He cuued at her.. his ears slicked back but then went up.. large to her if she was- and ready to help if she needed it.

"Wow..." Fu blinked at him and slowly lost her wariness at his words and actions. He seemed a little stunned by her appearance at first and then friendly. He introduced himself, 'Huh, Aadi's an interesting name' and shook his head. It was then that she realized he must have hurt it a bit when he ran into her. Well, it served him right for not watching where he was going, but she wasn't about to say that, especially when he seemed so contrite over it and concerned over the... Snake, so that's what that thing was. "Ah, no, I mean, it didn't hurt me... I was just really sca- startled," she replied, sitting up properly and taking a slow breath. "My name is Fususi," she introduced herself, nodding a bit in something of a greeting. He talked funny in her opinion, but it would be rude to say so. Besides, she thought it was kinda cute.

"Fu-fu-fussi~" He played with the name at the edge of his snout for a while before he caught on. Lightly wagging his tail. "Startled, scared?" He tilted his head. "I tried ta come as quick as i cud." He nodded. "But cha wer' ready gone. Like.. quick." Sighing he got up and shook his head again. Moving his head side to side...
"Dat hurt... anyho." He jumped a little to the side. "Do jue know des lands? Huh?" He looked about.. standing tall. He was about to dart away.. just running. He loved running.. he waited though until his butterfly friend settled on his ear.
"Want to venture?" He lightly smiled- with that hidden wildness in him.. Thats what his mother taught him... the world was for the taking! Why stay cooped up in one place! So many mysteries..

Fu sighed and shook her head when he tried to say her name. It really wasn't that difficult, but there was a reason she had a nickname. "You can just call me Fu, if that's easier," she replied, ignoring his mentioning of her near slip. She didn't like being called scared. What she liked was being complimented. And his mentioning how fast she ran made her smile.
"Thanks, that was really brave of you to come running to help me. And... no, I don't really know these lands..." she paused looking around. Realization sank in that she had gotten herself lost in her mad-dash. Oh goodness...
"Venture? What's that?" she asked, trying to take the fact that she was probably lost off her mind.

"Fu." He smiled happily..
He tilted his head.. Then where did she come from if she did not know these lands? Was she a traveler too? COOL!
But a blush covered Aadi's cheeks.. brave? He wished he was.. but he knew it was a good trait! because his mom told him so! But he.. didn't know what it was..
"Venture..yea know.. explorin' ?" He blinked- thoughs soft blue eyes of his. His tail wagged happily. "Want ta? We can explor'em toge'ber!" He laughed softly- "It'll be fun! Com' on!" He bounced a little in to the higher grass but stuck his head out to see if she was gunna come.. His ears twitching a bit.

"Oh..." Fu acknowledged, understanding dawning in her eyes. She still looked uncertain, though. If they were to go exploring, who was to say that she wouldn't get even more lost than she already was?
But then, if she did go with him, there was a chance that they would get out and she'd find the way back to her mother and father. Plus, it would take her mind off of being lost. And he was kinda sweet.
"Okay, if you say it'll be fun," she replied and followed after him, her movements not as excited, but her tone curious.

"I saws a herd of Gazelle- some'weres 'ound heer. Wanna run with'em?" He offered as he jumped in to the grass- bouncing happily against the prefect unity of his body to the ground and back up in the air- his feline flexes. He kept a steady run until he found a rock- big. You would usually find these rocks everywhere around these parts- where the grass is tall and golden. Some were green but those were just patches.. He looked up.
Even if the grass was tall.. now that they got a little more behind the hill determining what land you were in. It showed.. a vast amount of that same tall grass. Gazelle jumping about in herds. The trees were skinny yet big all at once. His ears tucked back as he rose his head up high- feeling the wind.
He turned to see if the girl was following him and would help her up if she wanted to see the beauty in the roguelands. The lands that many traveled. Sometimes- he set goals on seeing different places. Meeting so many new species.. New faces.
And he started.. Just with Fu.
From his birthlands til now. "Theerr' naut far off' We can captchem." He smiled kindly. But when he looked up again- yards away there were elephants passing through and surely they were form the forest for he hadn't seen such large creatures in his life! "Woooowww..." He stared blankly- they seemed a little small from distance but he knew up close- they looked huge.

Fu followed him, not wanting to be lost AND alone at the same time. When he mentioned the gazelle, she made a small uncertain face. "I donno. We could get hurt doing that..." she replied and worked her way up onto the rock next to him. Being the proper little lady she was, she graciously allowed him to aid her in climbing up. "Thank you," she said politely and looked around. Wow was an understatement. There was so much to see and the world around them was so big! Her gaze darted around, taking everything in.
About the same time Aadi saw the elephants, so did she. And her eyes widened in some parts amazement, but in all honesty most parts fear. She had never really liked things bigger than her, which was why she wasn't keen on running with herd-beasts, and those big gray things... were the largest things she had ever seen. "Wha-... What are those things...?" she asked in a very soft, timid voice, as if she actually had difficulty getting the words out.

He went slick down against the rock and let his tail wag happily. Just amazed as always.. but since he traveled so much, but it was fun always pretending to be like them. Big.. stomping and making holes that Aadi himself could fit in.
"I haven't ask'm yet~" He chimed. "But jus cuz yea got huwrt doesn't mean you has ta stop." He nodded. "I love learn'n things out there.." He looked to her with soft sky eyes.
"Yea know.." He shifted his eyes away from her to look upon the horizon.. All the animals just seemed so in sync like that.. Even more father away he could see not fat but TALL~ tall animals.. grazing.. Long necks..
He stared to them.. then looked about to see the other animals. Gazelle and the elephants.
"I learned one thing frum m'travels.." He started.. "Yea gotta live life..." he closed his eyes.. "Dun be scaured of it." Then opened them and even then the Savannah was just beautiful still. Run. Live it.. He turned to her. "Whadda say~ " A light smile came to the edge of his cheeks. Soft.. warm smile.
