Since we sorta haven't done customs in a while (AKA we did them once, over a year ago) I've decided to open up some slots. But we're not going to do a speed or raffle thing - these will be Colourist's Choice for now. I'm not going to set any sort of time limit or quantity limit here, as I'll just do'em when inspired.
To enter for a custom, please follow these EASY steps. 1 - use the form(s) below and post here 2 - if you've been chosen I will strike out your post and PM you with the official price 3 - once you start the trade and confirm it on your end, I'll start working 4 - when I am done, I will complete the trade and PM you the custom
I prefer at this time that the customs be ADULT-ONLY, but you may try for an egg if you like (I just can't guarantee that I'll pick it). If you're not sure about the pricing, please refer to the info on the first page of the thread.
And this shindig is OPEN for posting whenever y'all feel like it. But please note that I've got a lot of stuff on my plate right now so I will likely be using these customs as something to keep me entertained between tasks. So there is NO DEADLINE and NO DELIVERY DATE set.

Part I – The Sentinel
Player: Silencer Wolf Name: Dawyck Nicknames: none Species: Sentinel of Noctua Age: Adult Hatch Date: August 14 Type: Wildtype Task: Watcher Personality: Dawyck is happiest when working for others, be it running personal favours, passing messages, keeping an eye on wayward fledglings, being a personal bodyguard to paranoid sentinels, or any of those odd and under-appreciated jobs no one else wanted to do. Humble and complaisant, Dawyck lives to please.
Dawyck takes his job as a Watcher seriously and is in fact fully-trained to be ready for battle. He is frightening when in combat, a sharp contrast to his usual self. This is the reason he still hasn't been ousted from his territory, situated to be close to where there are many activities, in case he is ever needed to help out.
History: From a young age Dawyck has always been eager to be helpful in whatever situation he was in. He was raised in a loving family, but spent much time with Minders as well; part of his parent's plans to incorporate a sense of attachment to the Clan as a whole. To their delight Dawyck was more that pleased with the arrangement.
Some Minders may remember him as the eager fledgling who was always ready to help with everything from minding eggs and hatchlings to helping to clean out the nest-site. Territory: A pair of trees in Deep Woods, between the Swift Cold River and the Clearing. Mate: none Companions: none Certificate: n/a

Part I - The Sentinel
Player: Natsube Name: Tempest Nicknames: N/A Species: Sentinel of Noctua Age: middle aged Hatch Date: 3/17 Type: Twilight Task: Medic Personality: Tempest is a reclusive hermit, who will simply depend on his own prowess until he cannot support himself. He is calm and balanced, and not likely to take any risks, no matter what the reason. Tempest believes that time is relative and that there is no evil and on the flip side, no good. He is definitely not the sentinel to get in an argument with, since he will neither agree or disagree with anything you say. He is known to be a great listener, and enjoys his sessions with his patients, though he can't wait for them to leave him in peace. He is easily overwhelmed by large crowds of people. History: Not much is known about Tempest, but much is said about him. Often called a crazy hermit, and more rarely called a spirit-healer, Tempest has only recently been accepting small groups of sentinels near his territory for healing. He has fairly strong will, and uses it to press specific areas on a Sentinel to release tension, smokes strange herbs to help with healing, and places a selection of stones on immobile sentinels. Tempest does not have often converse with those other than patients, so he continues to carry a mysterious air. Territory: A small bracken of birch near the edge of the deep woods area Mate: None Companions: Yes; though I'm not sure how he will deal with them. More of a nuisance if anything.

Age: Adult Hatch Date: 5 November Profession: Crafter Desired Lineart: Regular female lineart Base Color Type: Deep Woods Detailed Marking Description: Mostly a mottled dark brown with some pale, cool brown flecks on her shoulders and face (on the face, they should look a bit like freckles). The tips of her pinions are barred with the same pale brown. Her stomach is a pale eggshell/off-white color, and her chest spots are very dark. Eyes: Gold Beak: A sort of goldish-brown Talons: Same as beak Feather Dye: The underside of her tail has thin white stripes on it, like the flower she's named after. Both are dyed to look like her. References: Stripes like this on the underside of her tailEstimated price: 75-100K? Estimated complexity: 6 Part I - The SentinelPlayer: Scaramouche Fandango Name: Jack-In-The-Pulpit Nicknames: Jack Species: Sentinel of Noctua Age: Adult Hatch Date:5 November Type: Deep Woods Task: Crafter Personality: Jack is a stubborn lady, that she is, and often very contrary. Her parents were gentle souls, both Mus keepers, who viewed the need to cull their stock as mistakes on their part, and believed in honoring the forest by taking only what prey their family needed to survive, with as much of their diets consisting of plants or scavenged meat as possibly. So, naturally, their daughter became a bloodthirsty huntress. She has a passion for her work, no matter what it is, that is all-consuming. Other Sentinels tend to find her obsessive nature either impressive or irritating. Her parents, while never turning any eggs over to the Minders, were very strict about honoring and being loyal to the Clan above all else. This has read to a rather typist outlook, which manifests itself as pity towards Ghosts (they’re not really one thing or the other, are they?), Shadows (can’t even deal with living in all our wonderful forest...) and Mists (what good are white feathers in the dark?) and a somewhat grudging respect towards Wildtypes for their overall hardiness and size (They’re big fellows. Strong, too. But isn’t the Brigadier himself one of us?). She is quite thankful thankful that she’s Deep Woods, for they are an admirable race, and she points out occasional advantages to being smaller. She’s horribly afraid of genetic aberrants and is not afraid to fly away from them if she can see an obvious one coming, as she is utterly convinced that they are contagious. She’s never nasty to them, though- she simply doesn’t talk to them. She will talk freely and quite happily to the lesser types, because they can still contribute to the Clan, and pitying them makes her feel good about her own high breeding. Other than her breeding, she is not a vain Sentinel, preferring to fine-tune her work than her appearance. History: Jack was born to a family of Mus breeders, the oldest of five children and the only one in her clutch. She was a difficult fledgling to raise, and grew up openly rebellious towards her parents’ profession. Although they hinted heavily that they wanted her to join their trade when she grew up and one day inherit their stock, she couldn’t stand the idea of keeping rodents. She never openly bad-mouthed her parents’ profession, but she never really liked that many Mus running around. One or two were all right, even useful sometimes, but any more than three was overkill. Jack avoided dealing with the Mus pretty much entirely, until she was older and helped her parents with the culling. However, the Mus did have a bit of a use during the winters... It felt nice, cuddling with her parents' stock of Mus during the chilly weather, their furry bodies keeping her warm. Immediately after graduation, she entered into her chosen task as a hunter and moved as far away from her parents as she could, duty to the Clan as her excuse. Granted, this was in the middle of the Cold region, but her rebellious streak kept her there, shivering through the cold days as she slept, occasionally snuggling up to one of her string of Mus companions. The tiny bodies didn’t do much good, but it made her think. If Mus felt good at night all those seasons ago, why not a polecat? She began preparing her kills before turning them in, saving and storing the skins of the carcasses in the hopes of getting a workable hide with the fur still on it. Her initial forays were utter disasters. The scraps of sinew left on the skins would rot and stink, and the skin would deteriorate after a while, leaving her with clumps of stinky, matted fur. Briefly disheartened, she decided to steel her resolve and learn the proper way to preserve skins. Somebody had to know how to do it, and after some long question-and-answer sessions with a local Crafter, she managed to put together a stretching frame and create soft, workable skins. Granted there were a few problems- if they got soaked, they tended to shrink, but that could be taken care of by stretching them, and when she began to make bags with them, a mold carved from a block of wood kept them from shriveling too much. At first, the pouches she made were rather ugly, with gap-toothed stitches that often did not hold together well, unsuitable for any use other than warming your talons at night if they got cold. She’d never learned to sew; after all, she was originally a Hunter, not a Crafter, But sometimes sheer stubbornness can win out over a lack of talent, and thus was the case of Jack. After a few months, she was regularly turning out furry pouches that served not only as functioning carriers for anything you wanted to put in them, but they could also help keep you warm! An artisan could dye them more quickly and with more complicated patterns than they could a leather pouch, for the vain Sentinel, and they were wonderful for small Companions who had issues weathering the cold. They also made great talon-warmers, and you could line your nest with your old, worn-out ones. For a while, she double-timed her hunting and crafting, but when orders kept pouring in, she found it difficult to keep up and became a sustenance hunter who spends her time crafting for the Clan. Territory: A few pine trees in the cold region Mate: None Companions: Yes Part II - CompanionsName: Jude Species: Mus Age: Almost older Speech Ability: 5 Intelligence: 5 Skill:While most of her Mus have only lasted a short time as they’ve often gotten eaten accidentally by her prey because she was using them as bait, Jude's really, really, really good at finding dropped needles. She’s made sure that nothing bad happens to him. Name: Rigby Species: Mus Age: Young Speech Ability: 5 Intelligence: 4 Skill: Skill: It's a nasty job, and it's kinda difficult for a Sentinel do to it without a very precise will, but Mus hands are just fine for rubbing brains into skins to cure them. Jack is not as fond of Rigby as she is of Jude, but he'll do.

Estimated price: OvO No idea… Estimated complexity: 7-8?
Part I - The Sentinel
Player: Mogami Name: Avalanche Nicknames: Ava Species: Sentinel of Noctua Age: Young adult Hatch Date: 03/11 Type: Minor Type/Aberrant? Task: Mystic (guardian of the borders > and a very fierce one at that) Personality: Because she has always been somewhat isolated and teased, Ava has grown up a bit insensitive and seemingly detached. Like she had during her fledgling nights, she still keeps her cheery expression and positive thinking but she now has a very distinctive “us and them” feeling on Mystics and the rest of Noctua - even if she doesn’t really feel truly accepted in any group. Most sentinels will look down on her until they find out her occupation and then become thoroughly confused, often wondering (openly or in silence) how something that is beneath them can be gifted. Ava is virtually impossible to upset but she does let the pressure get to her. Se always has a very wide smile and a witty comment at the tip of her very sharp tongue. She’s an expert at finding out other sentinel’s weaknesses and often exposes them to her own advantage. For all her cleverness, however, she seems utterly blind about her own weak spots. Behind the mask she shows to the outer world, she is full of a deep pride tempered with hatred. Ava has a wicked temper and when she’s pushed over the edge and likes to pretend she has trouble controlling her will power, often faking outbursts when she wants to get rid of an unwelcomed guest. She is a little too aggressive when upset and tends to get overexcited when she thinks she’s feared. Being alone for so long, Ava has some unusual habits. She often kills small/young predators near her post and even though she says (and maybe she actually believes) she is doing it for the good of the Clan – after all, prey is scarce sometimes - no one can deny the adrenalin rush she gets from hunting slightly more dangerous prey.
History: Her egg was abandoned at an enclave and Ava had to deal with a lot of prejudice until she was tested by a Mystic as a fledgling. Finding out she was “special” and better than all the kids and adults that had once teased her, molded her personality into what she is today. She has always been alone and even now in her new shiny task, she feels isolated from the rest of Noctua. She’s not particularly large but she’s very fluffy and likes to use (show off) her will for pretty much every minor task. Territory: Mystic land borders Mate: ---- Companions: No (she has a very short temper with them especially the carnivorous kind)A long shot, I know. xD Now that the minor types have been revealed, I’m not sure if there can be any more types so an aberrant Mist x Shadow or a genetic aberrant with a funky merle gene (not sure it can actually look like a snowy owl), which might actually fit better with the character idea I had.

Part I - The Sentinel
Player: Xiao Ling Name: Brindlewood Nicknames: none Species: Sentinel of Noctua Age: Adult Hatch Date: 29 February Type: Shadow Task: Crafter Personality: Brindlewood is of a cheerful demeanor. There is nothing she likes better than being buried in her work, and thus is always busy coming with new things to craft. She is extremely dedicated to her work and her items range from practical items to those for purely decorative purposes. Although the Shadow tries not to limit the materials she works with, it is clear that soft metals are her strong points. While Brindlewood might seem personable at first glance, those who know her better would gladly point out a bad habit of hers - the Crafter has the tendency to borrow things, be them tools or other things, and rarely returns it. When approached, reasons include short-term memory loss, lack of time, distances and all sorts of excuses she could come up with at the spot; sometimes some of these can be rather comical, especially when she is currently working on a project. History: There is nothing spectacular about Brindlewood's past. She was raised by a pair of loving parents, both Crafters. Her love of crafting stemmed from spending long hours at her mothers workshop while her father stopped crafting and took on the role of a temporary Hunter. Territory: One tree at the northwest of the Deep Woods, near Swift Open River. Her parents live a few trees away, and they visit each other every other night Mate: None Companions: None

Estimated price: 100k+? Estimated complexity: 3-4
Part I – The Sentinel
Player: Annchen Name: Cloudberry Nicknames: Species: Sentinel of Noctua Age: Adult Hatch Date: After the spring breeding season Type: ...I haven't decided yet... Task: Forester Personality: First and foremost, Cloudberry really likes trees. He has always felt a certain kind of respect and perhaps even love towards the silent giants that give all Sentinels their home. He usually talks to his trees while he's working, and he likes to think that they appreciate the gesture even if they don't talk back.
Cloudberry tends to talk slowly and is rarely seen in a hurry over anything. What is there to hurry about anyway? The trees are not going anywhere soon and every part of his task deserves to be handled with proper care and dedication. This will cause some to dismiss him as being a bit slow in the head too, but they couldn't be further from the truth. Berry likes to think before he talks or acts, that's all, and if he hasn’t got anything useful to say he'd rather keep his beak shut.
In case of emergency Cloudberry usually stays calm, and is often the one shouting orders when less level headed Sentinels panic. Whenever the Forester is seen flying at breakneck speed through the forest there's probably at least a fire somewhere... Don't ask stupid questions, either follow him and help if you can or fly as quickly as you can in the opposite direction.
It's not easy to anger him, but he is frightening when he works up a temper and if you want to stay on his good side you better not break any branches or scratch your perch too deeply.
This is a Sentinel who does not have many friends, and he has yet to find a mate, but it isn't the tree-obsession or the slow personality that drives potential mates and friends away. It's the smell. A lot of Cloudberry's work involves moving Sentinel waste from territories in Deep Woods and the smell tends to follow him home. It's not bothering him anymore, but even his close friends avoid sitting downwind.
History: Berry was raised in a Minder enclave in the colder parts of Noctua and was rotated among several different Minders during his upbringing. Because of this he doesn't really understand how some Sentinels can even consider valuing family higher than the Clan. You pick a mate in order to raise healthy chicks for the betterment of the Clan, not to form a clan within the Clan.
As a young fledgling he didn't need a lot to stay happy, and the Minders soon figured out that they could just stick him in a nest where he could see a waving branch or close to a tree trunk with interesting patterns in the bark and he’d stay put and entertain himself. He used to think about one particular tree as his special Minder and friend. It was a safe haven to retreat to when rowdier fledglings bothered him, and he sometimes came back to "visit" it when he got older.
It made sense to his Minders and Teachers to introduce the young Cloudberry to a few Foresters, and since he liked what they did he chose that path in life.
After several seasons as a Forester he's seen his fair share of healthy, sick and wounded trees, but he is still learning new things about them every day.
Territory: He's assigned one tree to live in and a fairly big area to take care of in Deep Woods.
