Hurling in upon us, conjured up
At the birth of the world
1..-Introduction-..
She took a deep breath in and inhaled the smell of espresso being brewed—bold, rich, and strong as if the beans had just been extracted and roasted minutes before. It was soothing; yet it jolted and shook your senses, awaking them into consciousness. The scent lingered a moment before being masked by the aroma of steamed almond milk. Light and frothy, the fragrance enveloped the room and sweetened the air. Another deep breath and she was stilled. It both energized and calmed, relieving her of her stress yet motivating her to tackle anything that laid ahead. “Wow” she thought, “Now if only my coffee could taste as good as this smells.”

Sweet: Pana likes to help people. She's the kind of girl that if there is a problem, she wants to be the one who fixes it. She definitely not the damsel in distress.
Nutty: Pana is, well, a little strange. Part due to her boldness, part due to the fact that she sees the world in a slightly off way. She doesn't follow social norms and likes to see everything as an adventure.
Bold: Pana will go right up to you and say Hi, regardless of whether you wanted to meet her or not. She also assumes much about people without really questioning.

Lizz's room.
A little bit scattered and unorganized, Lizz's room is like a typical college kid's dorm. Her bed is pressed against the far wall with a window sitting just above. She has two shelves along the same wall; one has her school books and notebooks while the other has a stereo with two piles of CDs lying against it. Tied to a bar underneath one of the shelves are her multitude of scarfs and bandanas. Her dirty clothes are thrown over her green and blue striped comforter.
On the other side of the room is her white desk. Over the years her artwork has accumulated along the sides of the desk until the desk itself became a piece of art itself. It stands out perfectly against the bright purple walls and black shag rug.
Pana's Room razz ana’s room has a way of energizing instead of relaxing. Her walls are a bright lipstick red with a white trimming. Her dark, wooden bed is to the far left and is covered with a zebra comforter with black under sheets. There is not a rug on the wooden floor; you can see random chalk sketches, with no rhyme or reason, dancing across it. A window separates her bed and her dresser. On the dresser is a red and black covering with an empty flower vase on top, waiting for its next occupants. Lounging in a black beanbag chair is her life-sized lion, Usama. Sometimes when it is quiet, you can hear Pana talking to him.

The earliest cards were called naibe, which is Arabic and translates as "to foretell." Their primary purpose was for divination; playing games with the cards was an afterthought.
