Giza'vermaak stood up, stretching her legs and pausing for a moment. Then she lashed out against air, grinning as she felt the fluidness of her movements. Good. She was fast and quick... but was she strong? Her grin widened as she flipped around, swiping almost clean through a branch, leaving deep scar marks on the tree behind it. Perfect. She was at her best, fast and strong... and she didn't even need her father's pretty eyes to do it.

Giza had long since recovered from the trauma of losing her brother. The betrayal still stung... and the idea of ripping out the woman's eyeballs was very appealing, she couldn't lie about that. Perhaps she had gotten more of her father's cocky streak than she had previously thought. But at least she knew that she had also gotten a great deal of strength. That came from Kyra too, of course, and her skillful training. But it had been Giza's goal ever since her brother had left to be better than he ever could be... she had taken his training regement for her own. She couldn't help that she had always been nosy about that kind of thing.

And she was far less willing to break over that kind of thing. She grinned and straightened, cracking every part of her spine as she did so. Then she went through the same motions she did every morning. Stay fit. Stay in shape. Always be ready for the day revenge came closer.

She wondered where her family had gotten off to though... she didn't think that she had wandered too far away. Oh well, they wouldn't leave without her. At least she knew that much.

]"I told you, I keep telling you again, and again, Karndess took him, Rellik just left alongside her, what else do you want Riddick? I can't bring your son back, and I sure as hell can't make you one, Dom is gone," though at some point in that statement her heart did sting, for she knew that she had wanted to be with Riddick long before Yorik showed up. She licked her tail as she walked, and sighed as he drew closer, and she heard that growl in his throat, "Do not test me today Riddick, you know that you as well as I have more lessons today to teach the girls, mourning over the loss of your son will not appease me, or improve any of your daughters," she stressed the last word, he did have other family than Domnikali.

She tongued the shiv in her jaw, grit it in her fangs and it peeked form the side of her mouth, she grit her teeth and held it tight, looking at him, and her eyes shined just as the moon and his eyes. "The light won't go for several hours, are you sure that you can handle it, your eyes and all," though she knew quite well even if there was pain in them, he would endure it just to follow her and dwell upon the past. She knew that it was somewhat her fault by letting them go, but..it was for the best, though she said nothing more on that part of it.

Riddick grumbled as he watched her, and though the light was bright and everything was lit up within his eyes like a fire, he watched her move and his breath was hot like the blood in his veins. An anger was forever present, it seemed, in his body since his son was stolen from him, and he couldn't take it, why could they not find him, they could never get closer or pick up the scent, he would be older now, a skilled fighter and hunter and tracker if he was there to teach him. Had his son slipped in his training, where was he, where was he?! His claws came from his paws as he could not help it and he watched her, he never could grasp what she saw in him.

Yes, his daughters, though he said nothing to her and merely walked with her towards a scent upon the air, a new day, more to learn, though he wondered, as his children got older, would they leave one by one as well? Riddick wasn't sure if he could grasp the idea, if they left...he might leave again, even leave behind Yorik, Kyra, but he knew if he left, both of them would find him eventually, just as the necros found his old pride.

Giza lifted her head into the air, sniffing thoughtfully. She smelt Kyra and Riddick coming towards her before she actually heard them... but now a days all they did was fight with each other. She snarled under her breath, wishing she could block it out or make the noise go away... but her father... She could never block out her father any more than she was sure she couldn't leave his side. Not even for her little friend Doto...

No. She would stay with her father, and she would find her brother. And she would kill Karndess. Though the idea of killing... disgusted her. No, she wanted to maim the other lioness first. Leave her helpless like a new-born cub like Giza had felt when the whore had stolen her brother away. But she had to keep her game face on. She had to be good for her father.

Giza lashed out once more, neatly snapping a branch in half that would have stunned most male lions her age. She couldn't help but smile. Stronger. She had to be stronger. She had to seek and destroy all those who would stand in her way... she had to get her brother back... Even if he didn't want to come back. She wanted them to be a family again.

...And eventually she was going to have to face her father and Kyra together again, even though she had bene avoiding any possible situation which involved every member of their family.

"Why don't you tell them, of your plan to ahve everyone be safe? I doubt they will want to do such a thing, settle, this life is all they have known, I doubt they will want to stay in one place. Your children are growing older Riddick, and soon they will be out of your grasp, and what will you do? Your little amazons will be gone, and you with nothing but the hate in your heart. If you don't want them to leave, since I know you don't speak to them, tell them you want to stay a family, tell them you will allow for ventures away with others, even with your prized daughters."

He was so over protective, and he didn't even realize it. "What if one of your daughters found someone, and wanted to go away with them, what would you do, turn them away and make your daughters hate you? They'll be faster and stronger and able to go away on their own. Think of speaking to them, explaining, be open with them Riddick, and the family will stay together."

"You don't understand how hard it is for me to consider the fact that they would even leave our family to be with others that we don't know or trust, those that haven't earned our trust. Settling would be a possibility, but I don't want them manipulated by prides that are not suited for our blood, their blood. It was a thought perhaps in passing, I don't know how they would handle it Kyra." Why was she on top of his words so fast, arguing, why couldn't she just agree like she used to when she was younger.

Riddick had even considered the thought of creating their own pride, finding somewhere secluded, where they could start their own be warriors, assassins even, eventually have te necros come into their secluded area and wipe them out. But iw as speculation, having a pride with the family meant opening the borders to others that might want the same lifestyle. He wasn't sure if he could allow himself to trust others as such.

Giza approached and listened quietly to what her father and Kyra said. She didn't make a habbit of listening in on other's conversations. It usually made her feel a little... odd. Unless someone was screaming. But when she listened, she learned new things. And this time, she had learned something new. Was her father really afraid that she would leave him?

No. Never. The family was hers. She wouldn't go. She would rather see her, her sisters, and her brother dead than without their family. They belonged together. But what if... what if her father didn't like Doto? What if he turned away the male who didn't follow anyone else's rules...? He wouldn't make her choose, would he?

No. No he wouldn't. She considered walking forward and telling her father right there and then that she would never leave him. That she would make their family proud and strong... but a pride? She didn't know what to say about that. She and her family were always on the move...

...Why would she want to stop? Why stop moving? What security could be offered in a group? You couldn't trust outsiders. Couldn't trust anyone not in the family. Just Doto, who had never let her down... who had always been there for her... No one else. No outsiders.

"Then why don't we just do it on our own!" Kyra yelled, taking a step towards him pushing her shoulder into his chest pushing him back. There was anger in her voice, even a little bit of hate, "You spoke of it once, long ago, do you remember? When you saved me from those mercs, when I was alone, right before you left me with Imam, and you thought I would stay with him, them," she sneered, narrowed her eyes, growled. "Why don't we just do it on our own, find our own place. We wouldn't have to rely on others we could rely on ourselves, our family, our group. If any wanted to come in they would take a test, prove their worth or be driven away, I can't do this forever Riddick! I can't!"

She snarled and took a step from him, she was trained well, but with her emotions clouding her judgment, Giza was merely a shadow carried by wind gone unnoticed. "You know me, who I am, and what you mean to me and now, even now it still hurts Riddick, that you chose her over me, that you still choose her...your family, is my family, but you don't know how much I really would have wanted them to be my daughters and son..."

"Kyra-" he snapped his jaw shut, angry wanting to strike her again but not wanting to. He bit his lip, hard and he could taste blood and he sighed, shaking his head. "You'll never understand, and it seems like I can never make you, whether i try with words or my claws," he was angry, voice deep and threatening, and he snarled, fur bristling on his neck.

"Well they won't ever be yours, they are my children, mine, and whether or not they see you as a figure in their life I will always be their father!" he snarled, took a step towards her and struck her hard on the side of her face and Kyra fell, "I'm surprised they haven't done this! How they have't hated you for letting them take him from here! He was my son Kyra, my son! How could you take my son and their brother away!" he snarled but she had moved already, away from him and his eyes were burning. She would never understand.

Giza made a noise then. A little too loud, she didn't really think there was a chance that her father and Kyra wouldn't hear her. Kyra... she had always looked up tp her as an older sister, but the thought that she could have been her mother...? Love was a very complex thing, now wasn't it? Though she knew for a fact that if Doto had tried to leave her... Doto. She would have killed him. Even if she didn't love him. Or killed the other woman who tried to take him away. But then, her happiness had always highly outweighed what anyone else thought of her. And right now, that meant finding her brother...

...Her brother who Kyra had taken away. And given to Kardess. She didn't believe it hadn't been without reason. And even if it hadn't, Kyra was her family, and Giza loved her. Her mentor. The woman who had taught her that one didn't always have to be a male to be the strongest warrior. Something that she and her father could understand...

But she wanted her family together again. She didn't want them apart. She didn't want Kyra to not be a part of it. She just wanted everyone to be safe and sound once more... and for once in her life, she knew what it meant to want to kill someone, instead of just making them her little... 'projects'.

But she didn't want her family to fight. Not like this.

As he struck her Kyra snarled and refused to show weakness. She heard a sound, and a realization occurred, but Riddick hadn't known, or did he, and he wanted to make a fool of her? It had to be Giza, but she couldn't be sure, but she didn't want Giza to see these things, didn't want Giza or anyone in trouble. "You think I'll never understand and you're right, after everything, everything we've been through, done together, you didn't even think of me once when it came to pass on your blood when you trained me yourself." She bit back the tears and could feel her voice rising in strength.

"I bet your she never knew what you did to him, did she, or any of your daughters, you never told them did you?" he took a step at her and she stepped away from him. "What you were doing to him was not training, it was cruel and painful, you would forcibly put him in pain you know as too much!" she snarled, dug her claws in the ground, "You made him open his eyes in daylight, you forced him to look at the sun!"

"I did what I had to!" he snarled, ad he wanted to hit her again but didn't, she was hesitating also. "He needed to overcome it, try to break it from himself!"

"But you never forced your daughter with shiners to do it did you!? Did you!"

He lunged at her and she jumped back, shaking his head and he turned away from her. "I tried to do what was best for him but Karndess thought otherwise, that Rellik, I heard is now in that pride which was what made me think but my son is still gone, Kyra. And I will never forget that."

"Yea? Well I'll never forget his screams when you thought the rest of us were sleeping..." she turned and walked away from him, back towards the den site. It never had ot be like this, he let this happen.

He huffed and snarled, dug his claws deep int the soil and anger filled his veins. He wanted his son back, he wanted his family whole again.

Pain. Giza had always liked pain, but she had really more worshipped it in the end. The desire to be stronger against all else... she would have willingly walked in the sun if she had her father's eyes, if only to prove her strength and worth... but she was different. She looked on pain as an old friend. Especially when it came to others... like her dear Doto... But this she did not like. Her father. The woman she considered her family. It had to stop. They had to be together. They were all they had.

"Stop..." She growled, hunching and moving forwards, "Stop... ENOUGH!" She roared, appearing from her hiding place and snarling loudly, her teenage body hunched and ready for a fight, "Enough of these lies! Enough of this sccreaming! Enough!" She sneered, getting as between them as she could.

Giza never screamed. She had never gotten in a fight where she had lost her temper. Not since her brother had been taken had she ever let her so carefully calculated control slip away... but now she was screaming. Now she was angry. Now she had enough.

These were the only people she cared about. She couldn't lose them. Not like Dom... not like her brother. So many horrible memories that slammed into her mind... She wanted to tear the world to shreds and leave nothing left. "Father! Kyra! STOP!"

Kyra stopped as she walked and froze, she closed her eyes and knew the voice, "Giza," she said in a whisper, and as she turned around and walked forward she saw her, back craned, poised ready to attack an enemy that had no form, truly. Flicking her tail she watched as Riddick turned around, to see the face of his daughter, angry and hurt, pain, and not the kind of pain that was worth experiencing.

"Giza, its alright," she knew not what else to say but the truth, "what has happened in the past, happened then, but I make a promise to you, to you," she made sure Riddick could hear, "I won't let this family go undone, I won't leave unless told, alright?" Giza needed to calm down. "Why don't we go sit for a while and I'll show you some new moves, and maybe tomorrow we can find you a small shiv," she let the small one slip from her mouth and disappear again, a soft smile. She started to turn and walk again, waiting, "You want to come?" this was enough for one night.

Riddick looked to his daughter and found no words to speak. He did his best for his children but he knew himself, inside that he pushed Dom too hard too fast, and that was probably why. He figured males were tougher and from what he knew of Kyra, his daughters, no such thing was true.

"Giza-" and he stopped, listened to her words, and Kyra's. Nothing good would come from today, this night, not now. It was best to let things go from now. Sighing he lay down and watched Kyra, he had faith and trust in Kyra, respect for her, but times where she spoke out he couldn't help but let the other side of himself become this way.

"Go with Kyra, we will talk another night of how we'll try to find-Dom," he didn't want it to linger, wanted it to stop for now. He gave a smirk, and nodded at her, "Go with Kyra and maybe if you think you're good enough, we'll spar...at night," not in the daylight like he usually offered, where he would have a disadvantage. It was time for change, and it would start tonight.

Giza paused, looking back and forth between them, her whole body shaking in fear and anger. Her family breaking apart, piece by piece and she hated it. It had to stop. Sleeping... closing her eyes... all she could see was Karndess taking her brother away. Destroying her family. Making Kyra and Riddick fight... it had to end. Something had to stop.

So she watched, still shaking... from what she could no longer tell. Anger? Fear? Such profound loathing that she could not state? Karndess. "I can't sleep... I can't close my eyes without wondering if she'll destroy us again. If she'll come back and take someone else away." She said, her feirece claws digging into the dirt. "I'll kill her. I want you to know. I'll kill her."

She turned and nodded to Kyra, a smile suddenly splitting her face as she fondly tilting her head towards her, "So let's spar, don't you think? I'm certain I'll beat you bloody." Beat someone bloody... make someone suffer... Not Kyra. Not Riddick. Not her sisters. Not her brother.

Karndess. Yes... she was going to kill Karndess.
