"Jolie, please, can you land?" Kaylie pleaded, trying to keep her hair from getting into her face. Jolie had all of a sudden swooped under her and picked her up, flying her a far way away from her intended destination. Jolie laughed. "What, do you not like flying?" she asked as she landed, transforming into her human form as she did so. Kaylie shook her head.
"That's not it," she said. "I just prefer getting around by my own wings is all." She looked around. "Jolie, we're in the middle of a village."

A human-shaped form was walking in the distance. There had been tales of a lone walker called the "Nomad". People did not know much about him, but they knew of him. He seemed to be walking at a normal pace, around half a mile from the village. When he reached the village, the guards simply let him in. Everyone seemed to be watching him, children hoping he would stop and tell a story, adults hoping that he would stop and give them the news of other places. He knew much of the continent, even of stories of the other sides of the enemy lines. He would tell stories about what was happening days before any real news other than that came. He walked by a dragon and a fairy that had just landed, teh dragon turning back into a human, and sat at a bar. The owner, who new him well, had come strait over with his favourite food and said "Here you are Miron. Just how you always order it." Miron nodded, and said a quick "Thanks." He never really talked much, and the owner understood. The trade was, the owner gave Miron free food, and he told the owner all the news ahead of time. It was a usefull trade on both ends. He also brought the owner large crowds of people who wanted to know the news, and that meant more buisnuess.

Kaylie looked at the newcomer, deciding to go sit near him. She was kind of hungry as well, but she was curious about him. He'd been one of her targets back when... Kaylie shook her head. This was no place to spaz out. "Calm down Kaylie," Jolie said soothingly, laying a hand on her friend's shoulder.

Miron looked around, and said "I guess that you are curious about what news I bring this time? Well, the most significant thing is that the war between Mitsubar and Grishaw is almost over. Mitsubar seems to be winning this one." He nodded, and said "I am going to be able to safely say that in about seven days you will be learning of Mitsubar's great victory under Lead General Keloa, however, you will also be learning that Keloa has died yesterday. His old age finally caught up to him, and he overexerted himself on the battlefield, allowing one of his enemies to decapitate him." Miron seemed not to really show much emotion, and in fact just took another bite of his chilie, and continued to say "Also, as a side remark, Mitsubar may have won this battle, But Grishaw got more out of it, because they managed to kill quite a few high-ranking officers in the process. Which means that Mitsubar will be needing a few more people. If I am right, the current open offices are Admirall, 3 captains, a lieutenant, several tacticioners, and a lead general." He took another bite of Chillie, and said "There is not much else from the other nations, but supposedly there is a bounty on my head, set by some fool of an officer or another. I think he set it to a couple hundred gold. The last time an officer tried that, he ended up dead because someone disliked him putting a bounty on their best news source." He took another bite of chillie, apparently he did not care that he also brought news of his own bounty.

"Bounty?" Kaylie asked fearfully. The word sent her head spinning. Those who collected on bounties were members of the Rebellion, and she had just seen one in the crowd, one of her old comrades. "Kaylie, calm down!" Jolie said frantically, noticing that Kaylie's glow was getting a bit darker, a little redder.

Miron nodded, "Yeah, a small one, but one nonetheless. But I think he may have bumped it up. That one I don't really know, but one can assume." He nodded, and finished off his chillie. He stood up, and said "That's about all I got, less than usual, but there's not much else going on at the time." The villagers did not mind, he gave them PLENTY to talk about. As he walked off, a man started to follow him.

"I have to... I have to get..." Kaylie muttered, her hands clenching. She was beginning that dangerous spiral again, and her hands itched for some weapons. She had shrunk her sword to make it fit into her pouch, and it was knife. One of her hands strayed close to the pouch and Jolie grabbed it. "Kaylie!" Jolie shouted, but Kaylie wasn't listening. She was focusing on Miron, her eyes narrowed, her glow a slowly darkening red. "Someone, helo me get her out of here before she hurts herself!" Jolie pleaded, looking at the crowd.

Miron was already a bit too far to really hear. He continued to the gate. The man close behind. The man took a knife out, but, as he stabbed at Miron, Miron extended one of his wings, sending it strait through the man's head, spike first, and flung him through the gate of the town. He took a moment to clean his wing, He said nothing, and continued to walk out of the town.

Someone had helped Jolie get Kaylie into the building and laying down on the owner's cot. There was a cool cloth across the Faerie's forehead, and she was breathing smoothly again. "Thank you," Jolie said softly to the bartender. He shook his head.
"No problem. It looked like she was having a panic attack. I was happy to help." He smiled and left. Jolie sighed and then turned to watch Kaylie as she slept.
"Fira," she called softly. With a silent woosh of flame, Fira appeared in front of Jolie, her tan skin and dark hair glistening with sparks that didn't burn. This was the phoenix's human form.
"Yes Jolie?" Fira asked, her voice somewhat musical. Jolie nodded towards Kaylie.
"Make sure she does not hurt herself if she awakes," Jolie said.

Miron was already about a half a mile from the village. He was now flying. He was not flying all to fast, more just soaring, watching for something that would be of interest at the next town. That was how he lived. He would bring interesting news from town to town, and they would feed him. He saw a case that he thought was interesting, and flew down. It seemed as though there was an army headed for the town he just left. He turned around, and began to fly back. He got back to the town, to the Restaurant, and said to the crowd. "I just got some more news for you. There is an army heading your way I do not know whether it is good or bad, but chances are, it's bad." He nodded, standing in front of the rest of the town. He was simply the messenger. They could take the news however they wanted... But then he looked again. He saw the children... Children that could end up as he was... he felt sorrow again as he usually did when he remembered the time his parents died. It showed a bit in his eyes, but he managed to return the mask of no emotion back on his face, and he said "I will help you, should you require it."

"I will help too!" Kaylie shouted, fluttering in the air just ouside the top window of the building. She had awoken, and Fira had advised her to get some fresh air. "I won't let the children be massacred, and I won't let them be orphans!" She touched her bare feet to the ground next to Miron and looked at him. "Fira and Jolie said that they would help as well," she said.

Miron paused, and nodded. That was his reason for wanting to help as well. He knew what it was like to be an orphan, have one's parents torn from them. Once again he had to struggle to keep his mask of displacency on, and it had faltered for a second, once again showing sorrow in his eyes. The villagers were talking amongst themselves, who could be this mysterious troop of invaders?

Kaylie bit her lip and lifted her feet to tuck them under her, hovering in the air. She had been high enough up in the Rebellion to know what was happening. They had gotten all of their members from Mitsumi together and were having them attack Triyori. She sighed, and Fira landed on her shoulder, this time in her smaller bird form. "Fira, what am I to do...?" Kaylie asked. Fira ruffled her feathers and whistled softly before answering.
"Just help as much as you can. The Rebellion will soon be nothing but a legend, and it will no longer exist," she said softly.

((That was my EXACT PLAN wit the invaders!))Miron unfurled his wings and flew up onto the wal. The army had reached them, and a man called up, saying "We are here to take Triyori! Either you surrender to the Dark Claw rebbellion, or we take you by force!" Miron looked down, and, in reply, he brought his head back, mustered his strength, and sent a rocket of flame at the commander. The commander jumped back, and said "Right, then, force it is!" He then ordered a chage at the gate, which had been closed, with a battering ram. The door made a resounding thud, and Miron decided he did not like that, so he brought his head back again, and launched another high-power fireball at the ram, automatically destroying it. "Right, bring out the metal ram, men!"
