In one of his favorite clearings, Sunil pawed at the dirt. What did it take for him to have a pleasant conversation? All the wild dogs he talked to were ready for his throat. His one interaction with a little lion cub ended better than most of between him an his own species. Maybe he was a lion stuck in a dog's body. "That be pretty funny." Sunil commented to himself before he rolled on the floor laughing.

As he rolled, the lioness arrived. He didn't recognize her or her markings, chances were that they didn't know each other. He rolled into a sitting position father away than necessary. "Oh just a joke of mine!" Sunil said with a smile. "What a pretty shade of grey. It reminds me of storm clouds. You wouldn't be a fallen cloud?" Sunil tried to keep his comments kind, but these could so easily be mean that she was mean and harping woman. Sunil, as usual, tensed for a fight or in this case flight. You never did want to be mean to a lioness. Words were so easily misinterpreted.

He blinked quickly. No fighting? What a relief. He relaxed a little and inched closer to her. "Oh good. Though You could give the clouds a run for their rain." He smirked. "I am Sunil." she said nodding his head in respect. He remembered hearing somewhere that lions and other felines felt superior to other species. "I am alone, I always have been. Not many want to be with a threat like me." He looked at his scars and sighed. Why was he, a "funny" guy, the only one with horrible scars?

He nodded his head. "More than I have wanted. What about you Hadiya? Ever had to struggle to save your life?" He was curious, but then again, anyone with such nice fur and without marks surely didn't scuffle like a smart-mouthed mutt.

"Hardly!" He laughed. "I mean to joke about comes appearances and they become offended. It's fight or die." He frowned. "You are right. They do not like me nor my jokes." This conversation did not have the usual violence but it was depressing. She was just furthering his observation of how pathetic his life is with the fighting. "Why do you stray from the males? Surely one has caught your eye. Please stop me if i am too bold for asking."

"I see. I've yet to find a girl who can stand me more than a few minutes." He started laughing again. He was prone to random outbursts. "Please do not be offended!" he laughed almost to tears, "I've just thought of the best joke! "Why can't a leopard find any mates? They are all camouflaged!" Sunil began to roll uncontrollably.

Sunil had to be the best joker the land had seen in forever. He made her laugh. "Let's hope that girl does laugh otherwise I won't have many children!" Sunil stopped rolling and laid on his belly. As he looked up to her and noticed her blue eyes. "Have your eyes always been blue? I would think they would be white to match your fur."
