Name: Tiaet
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
Craft: (Only if applicable - put N/A if not) Smith Apprentice
Rank: Apprentice
Physical Description: Tiaet is already a large young woman, joining a few other candidates in reaching the six foot range, but on top of this, she's not rake thin. Although she shot up in height, she's also filled out in frame... and out in other areas. Her curves, and her waist length blonde hair keep her from being mistaken for a man, but her height, and the strength she has been building up working in the forge, can still be intimidating, and perhaps rightly so. Her hands and forearms are lightly scared from handling sharp metal, but the scars are mostly from being tended carelessly, with little regard to the end affect on her appearance, and none are deep enough to have left lasting harm.
Her eyes, pale grey, are intense, and are only made more so by the slightly square cut of her jaw, which conflicts with the softer curve of her cheekbones, but then meshes back in with the slightly 'noble' nose, which gives her a feminine, but leaning toward androgynous, face, mostly rescued by an expressive mouth, with an unfortunate tendency to frown more than smile.
While working the smithy, she ties her hair into a thick, tight bun and wears a leather wrap to keep the entire affair pinned. No sense her head catching fire from a stray spark, though she'll admit that while early on her long hair was to please her mother, she's gotten somewhat vain about it.

Personality: Tiaet is an stubborn woman at best, She's taken the slightly more relaxed stance on the roles of women to heart, and has no intention of giving ground back, to anyone.
As far as her own sexuality goes, it's been a gradual discovery, and one she's still coming to terms with. She has a great deal of respect for the master smith she's learning from, and has no particular dislike of men as people, but she's as indifferent to them, sexually, as she would be to the advances of a herd-beast, finding it ridiculous, if sometimes novel, though she still hasn't actually approached another woman with her feelings in any more than a vague feelings, not yet having been comfortable enough to advance further.
While some people might see her as something of a revolutionary for her stubborn stance on her position as a woman, Tiaet mostly sees herself as her father's daughter. She's not out to ask other women to follow in her steps, understanding not all of them want out of life what she does. Neither is she out to change the entire social structure of the world. Much as those who do the work may not like it, she's quite up front with the need for drudges and so on, and argues that it's as much up to those people to decide if they -want- to change their lot as it is for anyone else to make it possible for them to change it.
She considers herself moderately attractive, but too large, so tends to wear more manly styled clothing, and does very little to emphasize anything but her long hair.
She's not even sure what she's looking for relationship wise, her understanding of her own interests is too new to her, and she's a awkward flirt, not knowing how to broach the subject with someone she finds attractive. She finds it easier to argue an idea than to express softer emotions.
She's acted more as a 'pseudo parent' or older sibling than any kind of leader, the closest she's come was ring leading a few adventures with the others at her hold. Usually nothing more than investigating for flitt eggs, (and finding none), or trying to spy on travelers without being seen.

History: The oldest of three siblings, all daughters, Tiaet, occasionally called "Tink" by her mother, who mistook her daughters pale eyes and fair hair as a sign that she would take after her petite grandmother, not her towering father, Her father was also a smith, though she apprenticed to another because he felt it would be more appropriate to apprentice her to someone who would not cover up mistakes with familial affection. Being the oldest, she's accustomed to responsibility, taking care of her younger siblings and helping her father and mother both when she could, which was how she became as interested as she did in Smith craft. She has a certain taste for being 'hands on', and lacks the delicacy for more 'effeminate' crafts. Her stitch work has been compared to making war on cloth with a needle and thread, and her attempts at baking are taken on with such heat and vigor that the end results could themselves be forged as weapons.
She's somewhat indifferent to the dragon-riders, fascinated by the dragon riders themselves, but curious to see if thread will ever fall again, or if the riders will eventually be forced to change their role in the world.
Pets: none
Other/Talents: At least until her more 'feminine' build started to bud, Tiaet enjoyed roughhousing and exploring with the boys of the hold, and would even crack bawdy jokes with them, an early indicator of her own preference, though most thought she was kidding. She can hold her drink, and is proud of her skills at brawling, though she doesn't start fights these days.
She still occasionally goes by the nickname 'Tink' (From her father: who jokingly gave her the nick name based on the sound of a hammer. Small hammer, small sound) but only among friends she considers good enough to share in the good humored joke.

Will this character be a candidate? (Yes/No) Yes (For the hell of it.)
