For shop owners and other representatives, you may ask questions and discuss about your programs (raffle, etc) here.
The staff members will be responsible for aiding you in incorporating your programs into the big event. You may ask them questions here and get an official answer.
THIS DISCUSSION THREAD IS FOR SHOP REPS ONLY.
Here are most of the possible program formats and where they would belong.
Weekly Mass (free) Raffle/Flaffle: Main Thread.
Weekly Mass Flatsales: Main Thread.
Weekly Joint Auctions: In Guild.
Individual (free) Instant Giveaways: Main Thread.
Individual (free) Raffle/Flaffle: Main Thread.
Individual (paid) Raffle: In Guild.
Individual Auctions: In Guild.
Individual RP/etc Contests: In Guild
Instant Freebies: Main Thread.
Instant Mini-Contests: Main Thread or In Guild.
Everything in guild will be handled by shop owners themselves. You will have your own program threads which will be managed by shop owners and supervised by staff members. One exception is a joint auction --- as long as it involves more than one shop, staff must be involved.

I think what is meant by mini events are a series of events that will be held in junction with the mass flat-sale. Somebody correct me If i'm wrong I didnt get to read what happened yesterday when I left, so It might have changed a bit.

So essentially anything you want to raffle off, or auction, or have an RP contest, etc?

yup, I don't know if they're going to be free or not... I thinkit was decided that if some shops didn't want to do some stuff for free they could host their own event here, but I think it would be fair if the pet was worth a little bit less than it usually should be.. just to embody the spirit of the event.

Yeah, I'm okay with that, but I AM going to slap RP-required tags on all free stuff from my shop, and I've told my staff that. :]

@falcon- oh I think thats fine, I don't know how its going to happen yet. But for a event (or program of your own) you might have to host it yourself.. I might be wrong though

Nyargableuyrgh.
I am thoroughly confused now. xD
As I had come to understand it, was that there'd be a massive multi-shop FS/flaffle, plus auctions etc. I take it not?

There are mass multi-shop raffles and perhaps a mass flaffle if there are enough shops up for it. =] However, there are also other events that take more time and aren't free, like auctions, paid raffles and RP. These will be held in the guild to avoid confusions. And most of these will be held by the shop owners themselves with the help and supervision of staff members.

Hrm. It seems like those events being held in the guild- as opposed to in-thread- would get a lot less exposure, but I understand. :] I hope for a mass flaffle- that'd be awesome.

We would still advertise in-guild events on the main thread, and link to the threads =] There will be fair publicity <3
Indeed! We are currently waiting on shops to decide whether or not they wish to enter the mass raffle/flaffle.

I think this whole.. "mass raffle/flaffle" whatever it turns into... well.. we shoudl set aside some for games and mini raffles.. and whatever else is put in the big pot. I think anything that's growing and not one stage should got into the massive pot!
Falcon, you're shop is welcome to set whatever restrictions you would like. Just when you guys register your shop, be sure to include htat in the note section at the bottom of the form. That's expressly why we put that section there. :3

I wouldn't mind tossing a character or two from my shop into a massive flatsale or something, but it would need to be known that it would be RP-required. I'm hesitant to toss anything into the raffle for that reason and am a bit afraid that someone would win and not want an RP-required pet.

I'm hesitant to put any of my two shop's pets into any mass thing, since one is a new shop and might cause someone to get a pet then leave... then for the other... I know that the plot and specifics of roleplay can be intimidating if someone doesn't know what they're signing up for. XD;;; Like... I have literally heard several people who get gifted pets from said shop come in, try to roleplay, and get shocked that they have to learn so much first. It usually doesn't turn people away from roleplaying (since I've noticed most people like all the details), but it takes a lot of learning.
I'm confident in having in-guild booths, though. :3 I know they'll have great exposure, even though they are guild-based.
I have a question myself, actually. XD About the inguild booths. I believe I know the answer to it, so just correct me if I'm wrong? Won't the in-guild booths be ran by the shop owners/representatives? Like at a carnival or such, yus?
