I'm glad you came here to ask! Mods are basically classifed as Literate RPers. They have Crew status so they can invite members that wish to join or others that they think are worthy of Mod Status.
Current Mods Consist of...
Myself, Rene Miashi as Guild Captain
My good Friend Resistance of Melody as Vice-Captain only because I have access to her account. ((Hehehe))
Another Guild Owner, The True Unknown One who is also a Good Friend
The Infamous Caffeinated Lollipop who I have come to know through various RPs
The Youthful Relient Reindeer whose age shocks me all by its self
Our very own SchizoPhrenzy who helps us all stay sain
The newest Psychedelic Seizure who is a description MASTER
The novelist l3IackOut who writes pages for a single post
Our lighthearted GoldenSparrow who is willing to help whenever needed
The blunt Angel Rowan who will tell you like it is
The new guy N.A.T.A who's creativity astounds me
This person, Ookami hime95 is our grammar specialist
The direct wolvesofmibu666, who takes it upon himself to act
Silver-Lined Clouds is our newest member
and others that will be mentioned as they become promoted to Mod Status. All Mods are to be respected and not messed with. They after all have the ability to ban you if you are naughty.

Um. . . . Sorry to be the grammar police, but you need to put periods after your sentences. In your whole list except one is missing periods. Sorry for being nit picky. sweatdrop Or commas if you are making it a list.

Because it is a list I didn't put in periods. Without periods the list looks like it will go somewhere instead of end. It was a visual decision, not a grammar mistake, but good eye. 3nodding

Haha, I dropped out of Honors English Freshman year... probably why I go cross-eyed when I even think about grammar. sweatdrop I'm glad you are good with it though. The first problem most people have is bad grammar.

Aye, say isn't it so? I too have failed horribly at grammar. I merely believe one can be literate despite bad grammar, and horrendous typos. We should promote better grammar, but never the idea that literacy is limited to flawless writing. Like I have mentioned before. Literacy isn't your capability to write, but rather your capability of comprehending the message it holds.
Everything i've said is not criticizim but rather, a self based oppinion. So hopefully no one will find my post offending. sweatdrop

We can assign a few mods who know how to use grammar correctly to promote/help others with it. But frankly I agree with you Blackout, mostly because people need to look past the errors (if they can...) and see the real post.
