Jennica tosses her long, luxuriously-curled, brown hair over her tanned shoulder. She is tall, and slender, with the willowy frame of a model, and she walks like she is forever on a runway.
Today, she has a long, black, flowy skirt on, and grecian-style sandals. Over her clingy, burgundy, silk top she wears a black, leather, form-fitted jacket.
It's friggin cold! This is Jennica's least favorite time of year, even though she knows that it has to happen for the cycle to continue properly. Blance, balance, balance.
Sighing, she checks the time by marking the sun's progress. Frowning, she taps her sandaled foot on the ground.
She is waiting, rather impatiently, for her cousin to arrive. She doesn't know how she was talked into letting her live with her, but there she is. Nothing for it now, and she will try to help her as best she can. Help her through her grief, try not to selfishly think of how much time she will be wasting to do ********, this might be interesting.

Mica looked at the paper that was the written letter, she wasn't overly familair with this area, she currently wore a pair of hip hugger navy blue bellbottom jeans and a turtleneck sweater that stopped about 2 inches above her belly button. she was walking backwards as she tried to decide if that was the right landmark. She didn't even notice she might run into someone. But did, Jennica...

Too busy thinking through ways to be nice, and accomodating, to her cousin, is Jennica that she did not see the very person she is waiting for. Not until she bumps into her.
Jennica stumbles back a little, but manages to gracefully stay on her feet. She narrows icy blue eyes at the half-elf a moment, before something in her memory stirs.
"You haven't changed that much, Mica," Jennica says, in a slightly high-pitched, youthful voice. It sort of fits her fine-boned face and pouty lips.
She extends her hand in an offer of friendship.

Mica spun around nearly throwing herself off balance after running into another person the bag on her hip with what was left of her possessions didn't help much. "Hi, you have. You look nice" she replies taking the hand of her cousin with a sweet smile and a equally soft voice. Her wandering showed, she didn't exactly look like she had had more then a couple nights sleep though she was reasonably groomed

Jenicca's critical eyes take in the wear on her cousin's face as they shake hands. "Thank you," she replies, though can't help thinking I wish I could say the same of you. She smiles slightly, before turning and starting to walk back toward her home.
She doesn't look behind her to see if Mica is following. She only calls over her shoulder, "When we get closer to my home, I will give you the address." She smiles slightly. "The witches that live here are rather powerful, and have powerful friends. I should warn you that you best not cross them."
She places her hands behind her back, and puts her tongue in her cheek. She rocks on her heels slightly, and waits to see if Mica joins her, or has any comments.

Mica hurries after her, "All right..." she said still not tootally understanding the issue about the address. "You live with witches?" she asked an edge of innocent curiousity in her voice... Her cousin wasn't what she had expected but it whas a place to rest her head and damn she needed that badly, her mum's death still taking it's toll on her

"All that you are about to see is owned by two witches," Jennica says, eyeing her cousin out of the corner of her eye. "They both come from families that are steeped so deep in the darker side of magic, that they look as though they have never seen the rays of the sun on their skin," she starts. "And, because Lenore and Krista have turned their backs on their evil bloodline, they are now the enemy."
She spins on her heels and fixes Mica with a hard stare. "If you ever give this address to anyone, there will be worse comsequences than death."
Jennica has always had a flair for the dramatic. . . .

Mica stopped dead in her tracks she hadn't been far behind her cousin and now they were face to face. "O-o-okay" she stammers startled by the suddenness of this statement

Jennica grins so widely her eyes crinkle shut. She puts a reassuring hand on Mica's shoulder. "Do not worry, beloved cousin," she says. "You will do fine!"
Then, she leans forward and whispers the address in Mica's ear.
Rather suddenly, the forest before them would change. Before where there were only trees, there are small cabins at the base of trees with trunks so large they could be carved into homes. Indeed, many of the larger trees were actually sung from the ground, and in the shape that they are in now, with rooms in their trunks and windows that look as natural in the bark as the pattern of the bark itself. High in the branches of the trees are homes made of the branches and vines, all sung into being by the wood elves that live in the village.
"This is your new home, Mica," Jennica says, smiling. "Oh, and I hope you are not afraid of heights. I sung a home in that tree," she points to one of the large trees on the farther edge of the village. "I made you your own little place when I heard that you needed a place to stay. It's a home right off of the trunk, I don't know if you can see it," she points in the direction of the home, hoping that her cousin has not become too overwhelmed with the sudden appearance of the village. "It's rather nice, actually. A very soft bed and everything!" she finished cheerfully before turning to Mica.

Mica relaxed when her cousin smiled and listened tothe whispering.. an adress... that was a strange way to give it.. least in her mind, her eyes widened though as the village made it's apperance, her mouth opened in shock and she listened to her cousin speak even though when Jennica would look at her again her expression would be one of awe with her jaw on the ground

Jennica keeps the cheerful grin plastered on her delicate face. "Come. Follow me," she says, and starts to lead her cousin toward her home.
Along the way, she exchanges greetings with some of the other elves in the village. The pleasantries are exchanged in such a manner that there is really no time for introductions as yet. Many are going about the business of singing the last of their crops up, to store for the winter ahead.
When they reach the base of Jennica's tree, she presses down on a nob in the bark. A door, whose outline is hidden in the pattern of the bark, opens. Jennica steps back to allow her cousin entrance.
Inside, it is lit by elf-laterns, which never burn out. In front of them is a winding staircase that seems to go up forever. There are several floors along the way, of course. On the ground floor, there is a sofa and chairs sung from the wood. In the seats are emerald, plush pillows. Sung out of the wall is a bookcase, filled with books. Just beyond, a kitchen can be seen. and off to the side is the closed door that opens to the restroom. On the floor in front of the sofa is a finely-woven rug.
"Welcome to my home," Jennica says.

Mica follows her through and steps into the house "Wow, this is amazing" she said softly but oh she could see possibilities for mischief... "I never imagined a place like this when I wrote to you" she tells Jennica turning in slow circles taking it all in

"Thank you," Jennica says, smiling slightly as she looks around at her home. She takes a moment to close the door behind her, before she starts toward the stairs. "Your room in on the fifth floor," she explains.
With the intention of showing Mica to it, she starts up the steps. The floors between the ground, and Mica's home, seem to be one room each, and each with their own purpose. The second floor seems to be a place for Jennica to work on her art, of all forms. Mostly sculpting, though, which can be seen by a glance into the room. The third floor is a study of sorts, with a large desk, piles of papers and books stacked all around the room. The fourth floor holds Jennica's weapons, and some targets for her to practice on. This room seems to be the least-lived in, though the marks on the targets show that it does get some use.
Finally, the fifth floor is one, large, bathroom. A toilet, two large tubs, and two showers. Around it, on various counters and on the edges of the tubs, are cosmetics, and shampoo, conditioner, face cremes, soaps, lotions, etc.
On this floor, Jennica steps off of the stairs and walks toward the door on the far end of the room. "The room is on the other side of this door," she says.
When she opens it, you can see that that statement should be taken literally. The rooms are spacious, and lit with the same lanterns. There is a sitting area, with a bookshelf of it's own, and a small desk. Also, there is a rather good-sized kitchen, and a large bedroom.
"I hope this is agreeable to you," Jennica says as she steps back to allow Mica to enter.

Mica followed her up the floors taking in every detail she saw, she'd seen nothing like this her and mum had lived n a small two bedroom house with only once floor, and it certainly wasn't sung out of a tree. She slows as Jennica opens the door and looks around as she cautiously walked throught eh door "This is all for me?" she asks a touch of awe in her voice "Thankyou Jennica, I can't thank you enough" she says still staring at everything

"No thanks are necessary," Jennica says, smiling again. "We are family, eh?"
She brushes her long hair over her shoulder again, and steps back toward the door. "I will leave you to get settled," she starts as she steps out of the rooms again. "Whenever you are ready, you can come downstairs again, if you like. Either way, I will make enough supper for the both of us."
She gives her cousin a friendly wink before she departs again. She closes the door behind her and leans against it, exhaling a breath.
The one thought that occupies her mind as she makes her way back downstairs is that she hopes Mica won't mess up any of her papers, or, goddesses forbid!, her sculptures!
Then, she puts her attention into dinner.
