I have a question for all of you trombone players; was it a good idea to start off learning trombone with a trombone with an F key on it?

My opinion is that you should start out with a regular trombone, but once you've learned it well, then get the F key. Speaking of which, I get to play a Xeno trombone, and it's a $3000 dollar trombone that the school bought. Best thing to happen to me in band, but I got it because I'm in the top band at my high school, and because I'm first chair. What pisses me off is that a seventh grader HAS THE SAME MODEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scream I didn't even get my own until eighth grade.
