Tarajia was full of joy, but she hid it beneath the reserve she'd come to perfect...especially since her father's disappearance. Her mother needed someone steady, and she and Enzi would be that rock for her. But the source of her joy today...new members! Tarajali, and leopons, like she and her siblings! And so...she'd set out to find them.
After all...it wouldn't do for them to be strangers to her! Everyone in the pride needed to know everyone else...it's how they stayed so close, and kept the demons from infiltrating them.

Uhuru was dozing beneath a tree, happily coming up with new stories based on the pride members he'd seen. So many...and he'd even started weaving together his sister's tale. The tale of the brave and beautiful heroine, her ever-loyal bard by her side...
And a new scent started him out of half-consciousness. Blinking sleepily, he raised his head from where it had rested on his paws, curious. Another pride member to meet? Perhaps this one would have a story for him as well!

Mabaka had been comfortably sprawled out on one of the low-hanging tree branches near Uhuru when she first noticed Tarajia's approach. It was strange for her to see the leopon, as the only other female leopon she remembered being in close contact with was her young sister, Feleti. After a long moment spent stretching on the comfort of the tree branch, the young leopon leapt down to settle next to her brother, nodding towards the approaching figure politely.
"You're a member of the pride, correct?"

Tarajia nodded, a slight smile on her muzzle. "I am. My name is Tarajia...I'm a Tarajali, apprenticed to Ka'hmesh, and the elder of our Mwezi's daughters." She made a slight bow, her excitement still contained neatly. "So...what are your names?"

Uhuru's eyes widened and he grinned. Perfect! He could get the Mwezi's story from another point of view! AND he could get this girl's! This pride really was a good place for him! He bowed, rather happy and awake now.
"I am Uhuru, son of Msimulizi from the Achana coalition. The Mwezi has said I am to train to be a Mmoja mpaka Halisisha." He rather liked what they did...what they were supposed to do. He wanted to bring those who could be redeemed over.
