Even though we all may know each other from the MSO thread, it might be nice to have a topic where we can go to learn a bit about each other! It would help everyone if you use this format.
Name: This can be your screen name, a nickname, or your real name. Whatever you want us to call you!
Age: This is optional. You don't have to tell us if you don't want to.

Anything Else You'd Like To Share: I'm actually Canadian but I met my once bf online, he was in Japan when I met him online and than he got stationed in North Carolina last April. o.O Um... I would like to someday meet my best online friend Keith... who's the Marine and he's stationed in NC when he gets back from Afghanistan which is really really soon!!! OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!! I MISS HIM SO MUCH!!! o.O If that's even possible without having ever met him... but we were inseperable online whenever he was on... o.O he would sneak on the comp and tell me he wasn't actually suppose to be on and everyone was back where he was suppose to be >.> so if he disappeared for a few minutes it's cause he would sneak back and than come back again... crazy guy sweatdrop eesh that's a lot anyway... dunno what else to say.

This is a military SO guild and stuff I feel so out of place. But I do worry about Keith and stuff. o.O I remember one day... I do NOT watch tv... ever haha... I watch movies on the tv... but I don't really watch programs on it or anything... and when Keith first deployed I was walking passed the living room and my dad was watching the news and stuff came on and I started to cry cause I was worried/missed my online best friend... I told him about it in an email message and he told me he was fine and stuff and that he was happy that I was there for him and that I was thinking about him and that I wasn't forgetting about him. But yeah as for the SO thing... *sigh* I'm no longer with my bf... crying

Branch Affiliation: My fiance has been in the National Guard since he was 17. He' been deployed once already and may be deployed again in October.
Anything Else You'd Like To Share: I'll be done with my Master's degree in May and I'll be an "official" therapist. I'm doing the exact same thing now for slave labor or as they call it, "clinical rotations". May is a big month for me because I'm also getting married! Shawn and I have been together for 8 years and it's just TIME. Not to mention if he's deployed again we'll get quite a bit more money.
I'm a major geek and love all things fantasy. I enjoy video games, all sorts of movies, books, and music. I'm a pretty eclectic person in my tastes.

Anything Else You'd Like To Share: I love being married I am so proud of my husband. We have been married for a year today and been together as a couple for almost 3 years. Im sorry if I offend any one but I have been a military SO for almost 2 years so there are certain things newbie say that annoy me. ie WE are stationed here WE are getting deployed WE are this rank that only works if you are dual military. ALSO if you are not a wife dont call your SO your hubby unless you are getting married in a couple days. Sorry I am very strong minded. Take me or leave me

Branch Affiliation: My boyfriend is in the Air Force (Most important x3), cousin is in the Marines, another cousin was in the navy, grandfather was in the Army(I did a report on him since he got a bronze star in the Korean War, it was really cool since I don't know much about him since he died on the fourth of july when I was young due to choking/heart attack DX), and a uncle of mine used to be in the Air Force.

Well I am going to college to become an Elementary School Teacher. I have two more years. (Which consist of observing, student teaching, and important core classes) I like Anime, Manga, Video Games, and listening to all sorts of music from Classical to Rock to Country. I spend most of my internet free time on a website called RPGNsider to manage their RP section, but I also spend time on gaia as well which is where I found this lovely thread one day when I was sad. =D I'm a pretty cheerful person for the most part, so if you ever want any one to talk to, feel free to add me. I'm always happy to have new friends!~

Anything Else You'd Like To Share: I'm really bad about watching the military tribute videos on youtube, and then bawling my eyes out for hours. I'm keeping a book of all the sweet things Michael says, and does, about what I'm thinking and feeling with him being gone, wedding plans, little quotes and songs that remind me of Michael. This will be our book. I'm thinking of making it a wedding present to him. We're to be married in October of 2010. Michael will be deployed in June.

Branch Affiliation: My boyfriends in the Navy, both of my grandfathers and my dad were in the military and I also have several friends in the Army, Air Force and Marines. Apparently a lot of people I where I live tend to go into some branch of the military.

Anything Else You'd Like To Share: Hi there ladies and gentlemen, I'm a long time Army brat, I've been through many deployments and hardships brought by military.
So far among all of my friends on post, I'm the most versed in my husbands job and what is actually going on when he goes into training and when he will be deployed.
My dad is a Major in the army currently on his way home from Iraq after a 15 month deployment. :]
If anybody ever ever.. needs to know anything or is confused about something.. I'm your go to girl. xDD
