OK post your pet peeves military related or not
mine is women who call their SO's hubby when they aren't married. It annoys the you know what outta me.
Also when wives say WE are sargent No no no if you are not in the military then you are not that rank.
Or WE are getting deployed again unless you are in the military there is no WE the military doens't really care that much about spouses if they wanted soliders to be married they would have issued them a wife.. sorry its late i am inbetween tired and awake

Actually, just the disrespect people show to the military. I snapped the other day with that KatePerry chick in the Military SO Thread stare It just REALLY bothered me.
Oh I've been calling my Chris "hubby" for years. 3nodding but now were finally getting married whee

General ignorance regarding the military. People believe whatever they're told, be it good or bad, and have no desire to find out for themselves.
Also, people who assume when I tell them that Shawn is in the military that he's a meathead. The first thing people tell me when I tell them he's been to Iraq is, "wow, I really didn't see you as someone who would be with a military man". He's not an idiot and he's not all "LET'S SHOOT SOMETHING". He's going to medical school for crying out loud.
Women who act like I'm less of a military spouse because I don't threaten suicide and cry when a deployment happens. I do my crying in private and why on earth would I make him feel worse about going? My job is to make his deployment easier and support him. Not make him feel guilty for leaving.
Also, I've been with Shawn for 8 years and we've lived as if we were married for at least 5. I feel pretty justified in calling myself a military spouse.

The "all military spouses cheat" thing irritates the hell out of me. I have never cheated on Mark, and he has never cheated on me (we're both horrible liars and would know immediately that something was up, so that's how I know he hasn't), but people act like it's a given fact that we have or will. stare
People telling me my husband is "too old" for me.
My "friends" not inviting me to whatever they're doing on the weekend. They'll invite everyone else near me and ignore me entirely. Then they wonder why I never come over to see them outside of work. stare

Fakes, i've said it ones and i'll say it many times, i have buds in the marines and one of them is a P.O.G. and going on and on about how bad a** he is and the other is a Grunt and he might have a EGO some times but he makes no big deal about the marines (Tho to me he well just to rub in the fact that i have a year of school left)

Calling an Army Post a base.
When people assume that since I live off post, I'm not as experienced in the Army life.
When people assume that my marriage will fail because I married young and he is in the military.
When people ask me how I can even consider having kids when my husband will be gone for a year at a time.
When there are two light switches to a room and one switch is up while the other is down when the lights are off. They should both be down.

When people park in my spot. o_o ( we have assigned parking no matter what ppl say.. theres numbers on the parking lot )
Excessive complaints about "hubby" being in training. ( Being worried when their deployed is completely different, but you are a military wife, and should welcome and be proud of your SO being accepted into training classes...)
The huge amount of alcoholics in the military.. >_<
Sand being in my house at all times.
The never ending amount of sand at Ft. Bragg and it still being three hours from the beach!
That rabbits are considered woodland creatures and I can't own one -_-
Military discrimination, ( If your Army you make fun of Marines and flip flop.. )
I mean.. your all serving your country.. Your all doing your time..
LOL That was long.. Trust me I could go on lolll I've been in the army for life and there is never an end to things about it that will bother you.
